I mentioned it in a different thread, but what a lifetime opportunity to be on one of these ships with such a reduced capacity.
Indeed. We all know the risks involved, but it is truly a blessing to participate in these early cruises. Touring Plans reported unofficially that the capacity on the Dream was around 25% and it seems to be that way (viewing some of the vlogs) which is just incredible to experience and witness. You can say that again. Obviously, I wish COVID never happened, but I'd be lying if I said that the sparse crowd on the pool deck didn't look like a little slice of heaven.

I assume the capacity will be quietly increased over time just as we saw with WDW. The question is when will it happen and by how much...? My Labor Day cruise is still open for reservations which tells me they have not reached their projected occupancy.Obviously some things will be worse than usual, but I too will not miss the crowds! I wonder if the crowds will remain that low, especially over the Labor Day holiday weekend.
Has anyone else seen the rumor that 400 families were turned away today for insufficient covid tests/vaccine documentation? That could have REALLY affected the numbers, if that’s true!

That sounds outrageously high when you start doing the math. Probably far, far less.Has anyone else seen the rumor that 400 families were turned away today for insufficient covid tests/vaccine documentation? That could have REALLY affected the numbers, if that’s true!
