Has anyone stayed there? How is it? I am sorry if I am posting this in the wrong place or if there is another place I can find this info.

Thanks!

I stayed at the Anaheim Plaza 13 years ago. I was only 12 then, so I don't remember TOO much. I remember the rooms were nice and the service at their restaurant was good. I've stayed at quite a number of different hotels over the years during my Disneyland trips. It just MIGHT be worth it to spend a LITTLE extra money and stay at Howard Johnson. I'm not sure about the other ones. :flower:

We stayed there from the 1st Sept until the 6th - over the Labour Day long weekend. I must say that I was pleasantly suprised at the hotel. My friend had purchased a package to DL, and this was the hotel included in her offer. So when I decided to tag along on the trip I just booked a room from their website. [$50 a night I think] I did not shop around or do any comparisons as she could not change her package.

We had adjoining rooms which were of a very good size. Everything was clean, and I did not notice any musty smells. We had a fridge and a microwave in our room. And a balcony which was very handy for hanging out wet swimmers. The kids had a great time in the pool, and the grounds were neat and tidy. There was a gift shop in the lobby area with a few supplies and merchandise.

We ate in the restaurant one night, with the girls meals free - food was tasty. Staff were very accomodating - My daughter and I arrived at 8am and we were let into our room even though I think that check in is 2 or 3pm. They let us store valuables every day on our way to the park, and booked us a shuttle to the airport.

They had a coin laundry (and coin changer) which I used a couple of times - there was no queue for it even on that busy weekend.

The walk to and from the park entrance is a block and our 7-8yo girls managed it with no problems (we took a midday break every day so that they could have a swim/nap - so they were doing 4 trips a day) We would often pickup a bit of food on the way to the park or back - Denny's was easy and the girls loved their cheesburgers, and the Coffee Kabana made the best coffee to take away.

Overall I would recommend it for what we were after - a really cheap, convenient place to sleep and refuel for the park!
