Hi, I tried searching but my search-fu must be off this morning.

I'm aware that the wait time for Ana & Elsa can reach up to around 4 hours without FP+, but how long should one reasonably expect to wait to see them WITH FP+?

Thanks in advance.

from reports on this board it's anything from 5 -20 minutes depending on how many fastpass guests are ahead of you.

Sounds good, thanks!

Glad to hear it's not an hour or so... Knocking it down to 1 hour from 4 is still a 75% drop, but just wouldn't sound worthwhile.

We waited about 15 minutes but I think a bit of that was due to a child throwing up ahead of us and they were waiting to clean before anyone could go by!

Good to know that if my daughter and niece decide that they want to meet them and we can score a FP+ we won't be waiting forever!

This is great to hear, and A&E are extending their hours till park close (I believe).

Are FP for A&E currently hard to get?

IF it's decided that we want to do that I'm hoping we get lucky at the 30-day mark.
It could go either way... My daughter and her cadre of kindergartners have a pathological love of Frozen, but she also gets freaked out by character meet and greets.
Having my 16-yo niece there might get her to give it a try again, but we probably won't know until we get there.

When DD was 2.5 we went with my niece, and after some initial hesitation she was all about doing most meet-and-greets (with DN's presence).

When we went when she was almost 4 w/o our niece, she ran up to one of the characters in excitement when we first saw them (I forget who)... and then hit the brakes hard and ran back to us right before she got there, I assumed when she realized DN wasn't with us!

You never know as things may change when they see their favorite character. My DD was the same at 3.5 when we were in NY. There were super hero and Elmos all over and she'd freak every time. BUT then she saw Dora, who was her favorite at the time and she ran right up to her and gave her a hug. It was the funniest thing as such a change. So your DD may suddenly change her fear too at her favorite princess.

True, but we've had opportunities and she still balks.
My girl is pretty astute and is well aware that there's a person in the costume (as I'm sure is the case with most 5/6 yo).
Heck, she even balks when she knows the person in the costume really well! Her Girl Scout leader/PTA vp/bestie's mom was in a Clifford costume at the book fair at school. She loves her and knew it was her but would not go near her when she had the head on!

At the same time, when we ask what her favorite restaurant was...
We thought it might be 50s Prime Time (we went twice and had an amazing time both times)... nope.
or Sanaa (had an amazing and wonderful time)... nope.
or T-Rex (she had so much fun both times here as well, she loves the fish tanks!)... nope.

So you're right, we will see.

Very ironic ;) So maybe since princesses are actually people (as opposed to a talking dog or mouse)? Well, enjoy either way. Guess you'll just have to see, and if you decide to get a FP and she ends up being scared, then you wouldn't have wasted too much time.
Good luck, and have fun.

Are FP for A&E currently hard to get?
Last week we moved our trip up to end of June, from end of July. I was still able to get A&E for the MK days we wanted. They were later than I like (5pm), but that's ok.

Our wait times last month were no more than 10mins total, compared to 240min listed for the standard line. You wait for a little bit in a "stone hallway". Then the group gets shown into the room with Sleeping Beauty and A&E. They usually allow up to 5 groups at a time. The lines move faster than I expected, they were not chatting it up as much as other threads made it seem. Sadly, they are the only characters my 2yo will approach so we're stuck for a while. Well worth the FP+.
