An Ohana Reunion...The Waterless Cruise...

:sad2:
Chuckle for the day......

I hired College Paint Works to power wash my house back in April. After many phone calls I finally got them to give me a date when they where coming to do it.

They showed up this morning to power wash my house.

I have a stronger power washer in my shed.

It’s very shiny so I think it’s brand new, and judging by the way they were walking around it scratching their chin, I don’t think they have a clue how to use it.

He didn’t bring a long enough ladder to clean my gutters (something Jimmy got them to agree to do) – BTW, the ladder looks brand new too – LOL

They didn’t bring gas to put in the power washer (don’t think they knew it needed gas – LOL) and asked for directions to Home Depot, I assume to buy a gas can.

This should be interesting – I’ll keep you updated……..

:sad2: Sounds like "Mack and Myer For Hire" to me!

OK, after a rocky start, nobody fell to their death today at (insert home address here)..................

I decided to get outta dodge and took the kids down to the park for the morning. When I returned I found the kid on my roof, three stories up, (I'm quite sure it wasn't covered under their COI since there was no safety harness in sight) blowing out the gutters. They were quite proud of themselves that they had figured out a way to stick to the contract without having to return this weekend with a bigger ladder. All the while my neighbor (also my BFF) and I were on the phone debating whether there be an ensuing lawsuit on my hands (what did I know and when did I know it) after they fell from my roof.

Anyhoo, all kidding aside, these two college kids did an awesome job. One side of my house, that never gets the sun, was covered in algae and now is squeaky clean. These guys work for the opportunity to make their resume look better as they enter the work force from college. Kudos to them!

:goodvibes

Glad it all worked out MA! That was nice of you to give em a chance to prove themselves. I would've had to leave too.

Did ya'll see that the on-line ADR is open to the general public today? If there's anything you haven't booked yet...give it a try! I just added a breakfast just because I could! It's a good excuse to get the clan outta bed & into DHS for park opening. :yay:

Hi everyone!

There is a review on the Dis Unplugged Blog about the Wishes Dessert Party WDW is having during the summer. Since we have never seen Spectromagic or the Wishes fireworks...we booked this for Wednesday night since the group has no plans that night - we figured we were safe with that date.

Just thought I would pass on the info. the cost is 17.99 for Adults and 10.99 for kids ages 10 and under.

Can't believe its coming so quick!

We have dinner at Le Cellier that night, so we're going to pass on the Wishes Dessert Party. It sounds like a great time though, so y'all have fun!

Thanks for the heads up! I got it changed so now even though we can't see it from the location, we can see it the same night. That way we dont have to go into the park another evening.

Appreciate it!
