Hmmmm might be worth it if the drink mug comes with unlimited bahama mamas and the attendant is one of the chip n dale dancers.

Good thing Crash isn't around to share an image or two:rolleyes1. He would have a field day with your post

Aw I miss Crash! His images were always good for a chuckle! :goodvibes

So I am working the obstacle course this past Saturday for Brownie Olympics and I look up and there is Crash. He give me that befuddled look and then recognized me. I will have to post some pictures. He has a vacation planned around the time that we are at the world but he is scheming on some 14 day cruise of the Mediterranean on some cruise line I have never heard of including airfare for $1200/pp.

Can't wait to see them Roger.

Well, there you have it...

Disney has a bunch of ST's & DH's working as CM's on their phone lines, because they are experts at "omission" when pressed for an answer :rotfl:

We usually watch Wishes on Main Street about even with the info board (just passed where the shops end). As far as Illuminations, you just need an unobstructed view of the center of the lagoon. Also, remember to check the wind direction. In the humidity the smoke from the fireworks seems to hang much lower and the wind could direct it right at you. When they light the torches watch the direction the flame blows.

Anywhere around the castle hub, as long as there are no trees blocking you is a good place to see Wishes so you can see the show on the castle or further back along Main St. as Barbara said. Our favorite super secret spot...shhhhh is right at the Tommorowland Noodle Station right up front & to the right if you are facing out. If you go about an hour beforehand...there is hardly anyone there & you get to sit at a table while watching Wishes & Tink flies right overhead. ;)

Illuminations...really just about anywhere along the lagoon but front spaces fill up about an hour beforehand. A favorite of ours has always been the Catina in Mexico so we can sit, drink Margaritas & eat Nachos while we watch. Seeing a theme here? But be careful, because Mommies love to throw their kiddies in front of you at the last minute even though you are sitting right at the railing they will somehow try to squeeze them in. Put your foot up to the railing or you will lose your view fast! :sad2:

I like to watch Wishes from the Rose Garden. It's never been crowded over there and we usually don't show up until about 30 minutes prior.

Haven't quite mastered Illuminations viewing. We end up just squeezing in somewhere. I've heard there's a good area over by Germany but haven't made it over to really check it out.

Hey, that's mine too! Since they changed over to Wishes the angle is a little funky, but a great spot that is not crowded. Since they changed the show to Wishes my favorite spot is in front of the flagpole on Main St but it is crowded.

I have never watched Illuminations from a decent spot, except from the pontoon boats. I am really looking forward to seeing them from the private viewing area.

Great minds & all that...don't ya know? :snooty: You're right, the angle is a bit off since the fireworks look to be to the right of the castle.

For Illuminations, I've always wanted to one of those people that got to stand in one of the roped-off areas! :cool1:

After today...just one more day of work & I'm done!!! I'm popping the champagne tomorrow afternoon! Bring on summer!

Chuckle for the day......

I hired College Paint Works to power wash my house back in April. After many phone calls I finally got them to give me a date when they where coming to do it.

They showed up this morning to power wash my house.

I have a stronger power washer in my shed.

It’s very shiny so I think it’s brand new, and judging by the way they were walking around it scratching their chin, I don’t think they have a clue how to use it.

He didn’t bring a long enough ladder to clean my gutters (something Jimmy got them to agree to do) – BTW, the ladder looks brand new too – LOL

They didn’t bring gas to put in the power washer (don’t think they knew it needed gas – LOL) and asked for directions to Home Depot, I assume to buy a gas can.

This should be interesting – I’ll keep you updated……..
