The girls looks absolutely adorable on their first day back to school!!1 Yes, Devon is looking forward to going back actually, he keeps saying the sooner school starts the sooner we go to Disney!!
You are not the only one whi plans out outfits!! LOL, I did the same thing, if you read my trip report, I have Devon's outfits all picked out!! Yes I am a dork, but like you wanted to make sure I didn't need to pick him up anything before we left!
I am actually nervous about talking to Devon's teacher as well, mainly b/c he is only going to be in school a week and a half before I pull him out for our trip, oh well, I figure since it's so early in the school year, they should just be reviewing. I will say when I took him out of school in December for or trip, the teacher was awesome about, she gave me all his work he would miss and everything. It was funnt, b/c I found out that 2 other kids in his class were going to Disney the same week we were there! Wouldn't you know it, we ran into both families!

The girls are usually ready by Mid August to go back, so I am glad that we start early. It works out so that we are usually out at the end of May, which is awesome! 
Once Menley is in Middle school, we will probably use that to our advantage and start taking vacations at the end of May so she won't have to miss school. 
Wow, our schools started on August 13th. But they get out at the end of May, so I guess that's why! The girls are so cute in their "first day" outfits. I wish I were younger so I could get away wearing stuff like that!
I can't believe you just have three weeks left. I know you're EXCITED!
And yes, it is getting so close now! Our countdown Calendar is looking pretty spare! 
I don't have too much time now, but I wanted to say hi! 
I finished the girls shirts last night! I also am headed to the dollar store today to pick up a few things. I will post an update later with pics! The countdown has begun!
She definitely deserves it, but I HATE making other people cry! 
Even if they deserve it, I agree, it's tough to do! I haven't had to do it to anyone yet but I'm dreading the day.

I hate firing people. Even when they deserve it. One would think with the economy as it is you would try really hard to keep a job.
I have this picture for you. My daughter Sandi lives in Tennessee and when they moved in their house the previous owners were OU fans so this is still in their house cause they don't want to pay someone to get up there and paint over it. Tim is a Razorback and of course Mike a Longhorn so they have lots of comments over it.

Of course, tonight starts the first night of my husband's new Sunday night softball league...at least we will all be together cheering him on! 
First off, we made the trek to North OKC to get Maci's boots for her costume. They had a HUGE selection. Since we has a coupon for $100 off boots and all of the children's boots were $60 or less, Maci got to choose any pair of boots that she wanted for FREE! 
She had a hard time deciding, but after trying on every single boot in the place (and galloping around in them with a stick horse to test their "gallopiness" 
), these are what she ended up with:
We also picked up a crown and wand to go with her Sleeping Beauty dress that she is going to wear to our Princess Storybook Breakfast. 
I found the dress at a garage sale! It is in perfect condition and is from the Disney Store. 
I am starting to feel like I am more prepared! Does anyone know where I can get misting fans?
