An Invasion of a "STRANGER" Kind.... NEW THREAD IS UP!! Go Thee NOW!

That's something I never thought I'd hear anyone say...

Never fry bacon in the buff... :lmao:

Anyway, I won't keep you up... but did you get my e-mail???

Can you imagine it? Can you dream big enough?? Is it possible that things could possibly get THIS good, and that I can have ONE WHOLE DAY- ONE LONG, LONG whole day at EPCOT??

Let's face it. You would either LOVE it or HATE it. There really seems to be no middle ground here. I am a lover, Maroo is, well, I wouldn't go so far as to call her a hater, but she's not a lover, in the EPCOT sense of the word.

Given that she is a luke warmer, of all our days together, this one might not be.

It's a pretty simple, yet detail-oriented plan, my Peeps. Ready?

Get up (always seems to start with that, and seems to be getting redundant)

Rope Drop at 9:00 (I think we can do this, we'll be in bed by 11 or so the night before.)

FW until 11:00 - I don't know about you, but I don't need to ride in Clamobiles more than once.

11:00- Move over to WS and start touring counterclockwise.

That should put us in Japan's vicinity in time for our 1:30 ADR at Teppan Edo.

Continue doing the World Showcase Waltz and make it to Germany for our:

7:00- ADR at the Biergarten.

9:00- Maybe we'll catch Illuminations, maybe we won't. Whatever. Either way, LeeAnn needs to at least see The Ditch, right??

Guess what?? Yup! An EMH until midnight!

Will we make it? Can we do it? Do we have it in us to conquer the World (Showcase) and perhaps even save it with Kimunicators?

In response to your Kids Say the Darndest Things stories. (I'll bet that shows my age....but I remember the Bill Cosby version, not the Art Linkletter version.) Anyway...the other day my kids were talking about eating too much and James said something to the effect that he was so skinny he didn't need to worry about it. With me sitting right there, Lauren said, "Dad was skinny once too, you know!" Awkard pause. "Ooops."

Here are my game responses. Thanks for hosting!

GB - I am so sorry you got burned but your story and commentary gave me the chuckle I needed this morning!

Epcot - I am a lover and so is Jordan! I would love to tour the WS nice and slow one day without standing in character lines, racing to KidCot stops or doing Kim Possible Missions.

Congrats on the book inventory and sale!

Kids are honest to a fault and are so funny! Jordan makes one of my friends laugh all of the time with the stuff she comes up with. We are in the car the other day - Jordan, me, my mom and my grandma (who is 83) and we were discussing what frankincense and myrhh (sp?) actually are. My mom says we can look it up in the dictionary when we get home and Jordan says (with that 6 year old attitude) why don't you just google it. To make it even funnier, my grandma had no idea what google was.

See? that's funny!!
It reminds me of that line in It's a Wonderful Life when Jimmy Stuart says to his dad that he'd never want a job as a banker in a stuffy old office. That would never do...

But I guess Lauren's comment was better spent on you, rather than Judy- who might have, like most women, taken it too hard.

GB always is there to bring on the funny!! I'll forever have a picture of a tummy with a 2 inch burn stripe down the center, and think twice before I cook all naked like.

Ahhh...EPCOT. ALL Day. The only thing better would be to have it all to myself.

Someone needs to show Grandma the glory of the net!!! Jordan sounds like Anara. Too smart for her own good. ;)

I can see where that would be problematic.

Thanks & Happy to be of service!

Just be wearing the BARE minimum and it shouldn't get too scary.

Are you really thinking about doing the Kim Possible mission? I've wondered about it, but I didn't know if it just had you running all over Epcot.

I really AM thinking about doing one, at least once- just to say I did it.

I"d hate to not do it, then look back and say I wished I had. Does that makey ANY sense at all??

I just got back from bowling (I actually broke 100 tonight!) and my butt is about as sore as it gets. I think I did some serious glutial damage! :scared1: All that to say, I"m super tired (it's almost 12) and my fingers and mind are a fumbling mess. It was a riot! About 15 minutes before our time was up (you pay by the hour, and it's not a brothel) this trio of drunks show up and proceed to wreak havoc on our game. They actually tried to bowl on OUR lane and crossed in front of us to get their balls - Like jeez people, what's your problem??!!! :scared1:

Ok, where was I? Anyway, KP.... I don't think you run all over EPCOT when you do them, but mainly stay in one or 2 Pavlions. But hey, I've been wrong before, and I"m not positive about that. But that's my novice understanding.

I am going to chime in. When you get a Kim Possible Mission, the whole Mission takes place in one country. So, you have to get to that country but once there everything takes place in that country. If you do a second mission, it is in a different country that we got to choose from a list if I remember correctly. I, of course, picked a country next door to the one we were at!

That totally makes sense. I mean, you might as well take advantage of everything you can do while at WDW!

 Exactly!!!!

That is the truth! Glad I am not the only one with one of those!

How did you know I needed some hero worship this week?!?! I am feeling overworked and underappreciated!

Now that I am jogging my foggy memory on Kim Possible, I remember that we went to one of the mission stations in innoventions and it told us to report to this cart in I think Italy to get our communications and mission at X time (like a fast pass). We went there got our communicators and first mission which was assigned by them and it was in Germany. After our mission in Germany was over, you could choose to turn in your Communicator or to do another mission. We chose to do another mission and it gave us a list of a few countries to choose from. We chose Japan (I think it was the closest on the list but I can't remember). It was cute and Jordan loved it!

It was my fantastic sense of empathy! :lmao::lmao:

OK, thanks for the clarification. I more I know, the more empowered I feel. :rotfl2:

Liesa~~ I am NOWHERE near catching up but I jumped in to see the DC meet info! As for me........with the new trip that DH and I are planning I'm not sure If I can make it to DC :eek: I know, I know.....It's sad. We won't be able to pin my trip down to see him until he gets to Alabama for class. He has to see what his schedule is before I buy a flight. I would hate to get down there and have him too busy with the NCO Academy to go to Mississippi! As soon as I figure out his dates I will let you know. I would love to come up and stalk people in real life....It gets kinda dull being an internet stalker! Keep me posted though. Im only 3.5 hours away from DC so as long as I'm in town I will be there! Thats right, YOU will get to meet the ginger midget in person! Do you know how lucky you are?!?!?!?! hehehe. Please hold your laughter! :lmao:

You're absolutely right, Liesa. Eventually the Kim Possible missions will go away and you'll be sorry you didn't get to try one!

We did one (Germany) and the girls and I had a good time. It seems most entertaining for young and young-at-heart guests, so I know it will apply to you!

Kathy

I'm chiming in on the KP mission thing. I think you've got to add it to your must do list. It's cute, really it is. I'm sure you'll enjoy it and the beauty of it is that although it has a time frame set to each mission-it's a pretty big window and therefore quite flexible.

I will also mention that when Dh and I did one, we ended up with a mission in a far away country. So I just asked the CM working the KP mission centre if I could have another one instead. It was no problem.

I'd liek to try Kim Possible, at least once.

I'll give you once on the Clammobiles but I could do Soarin, Test Track and Mission Space more than once.

Personally :)
