You have no idea how good that makes me feel! So, you've been in there a lot?? or is it ALL the time you're hearing it? :lmao:

I've heard it everywhere.....for some reason I don't think indoor plumbing is what Beethoven had in mind when he composed it..........unless he had just seen a vision of the future of chamber pots.
Maybe the sound of the swirling water when the potty is flushed inspired him.

Brings me a hallelujah chorus every time! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Is it already storm and tornado season over there? Where did the year go?? I remember like it was just not too long ago that I was in Bowling Green at my parents' place and we had some majorly amazing storms complete with a mini tornado that took out MANY trees in there neighborhood. That was June!!

I think that's what it is... Everything seems to have gone to pot in the last year espeicially- the changes are happening WAY to fast. I guess my running and primping is a knee jerk reaction to something that is a irreversible condition. :rotfl2:

A new do would just be icing on the beauty cake.

Luckily I've only got a few. I guess I shouldn't worry. A Good Book I know about actually calls it a "crown of glory" and sign of wisdom.

DH is totally grey now, and in my opinion is sporting it pretty handsomely.

I did look at the store at the coloring kits they have, but they were all a shocking auburn or electric red; I"m not going there. Just a nice amber or honey colored red is what I'm after.

Ugh. We had hail that big back in Chicago. I do NOT miss that!

Crown of glory my patootie. When you start going grey at 21 and it is NOT a pretty grey but rather the steel wool grey of your beloved grandmother who wore it in a bun every day of her life while she smoked her cigarette, played solitaire for hours and had a huge glass of red wine you might feel differently.

I LOVED my grandma but....it's just not attractive.

On me.

Yet.

Although I did miss a spot on the last dye job and it looks kinda cool.

:rotfl:

Swear to the big guy. After 40 it goes downhill FAST for a couple of years. Then, blessedly, it levels out.

We will see how long that lasts.

:rotfl:

As my beloved MIL says....

Growing old is not for sissies.

I like thunderstorms, if there's a big porch with a swing on it to watch from.

As my beloved MIL says....

EWwww... that sounds nasty! :scared:

I am experiencing the "what happens around 40" thing these in a scary way. What is the deal with my skin too!?? My hands are freakishly wrinkled now! Ah well, if they can still knead bread and type on the DIS, I'm good to go.

Go back and look at yoru answer to #8 again.... you gave a non sequitor... ;)

soooo um what have I missed?

Just got home from a double today.. 2 weddings..

just here making sure I haven't missed anything too important.

Poor thing- Hope she wasn't too scared in the car with the sky falling down! One time one of my sisters was driving through Texas on her way home to California, and it hailed to badly that it dented her car and smashed her rear window!!!! :scared1::scared1::scared1:

She was fine, she was just a little shaken. In the midwestern states and parts of Texas this is an all to common occurrence. :scared:

We had a HAIL storm several years ago.. the hailstones were the size of golf balls !! Damaged cars , house roofs etc it was an insurance NIGHMARE:scared1:

Around these here parts Ms. Rosie, this is an occurrence that happens more often than I would like to admit to.
We actually had hail damage bad enough to replace our roof with in a couple years of one anther. The first year it happened right after my Father in law bought a second house out here, and I mean right after...he signed and a few hours later. Then two springs later we were right back in the same situation. So much for getting a roof you pay extra for so you can have 15 more years before needing to replace.
The second year's hail was so bad (further south of here) there were home windows knocked out, it broke and tore siding off homes, broke out most car windows and destroyed their cars to say the least. Some of the cars looked like golf balls they had so many dents, it was totally nuts! A friend's car was only about 6 yrs. old and it was totaled by the insurance company. :sad2:

I'm sure it was!! I've never seen hail that big; it must be quite a sight!

It's something you'll never forget when you see it, I have pictures I'll have to hunt down and put on here of the storm I described to Rosie. I wasn't in the worst of it, but out in it (in the van) when it happened.
The hail storm I described to Rosie was any where from softball sized hail down to golf ball sized hail in the worst areas. That day we were sitting at a stop light, and within a matter of less than 9 mins. there was so much hail on the ground it looked like it had just snowed a couple of inches... It was crazy! I just kept praying very loudly for it not to hurt our van, and believe it or not we only had a couple of very minor dings in the van. :worship:

There you go. Give me your answers numbered with the answer- you know, just try to make it sorta legible and understandable. I am simple and need things easy. Answers are due by the end of April. Good luck!!!

I'm not playing, but I'm having fun peeking in once in a while! Just thought I would say Hi! Yikes that huge hail sounds really scarey! I remember hail the size of large marbles in Minnesota, I think that is the biggest I've seen. :scared1: You wouldn't want to be outside in that one.

ohhh... you mean you had to wooooooorrrk. :lmao:

Let's see.... funny things kids say, that aren't so flattering about us; singing sonnets in the can because it actually flushes; a warning to play the game (but you've done that); plans for Day 10; and comiserating about getting older.

Okay Mama, here are my answers.

OK, I've got them in my answer sheet, and I'll let you know in 5 months if you won. :rotfl2:

HOWDY, Tammie!!! Thanks for stopping by and peeking in!

Doesn't hail too much in Oregon OR California- and those are the only 2 places I"ve really lived for a long time- well, except here. And it doesn't hail here either. Instead we get monster sand storms that are quite a sight.

It appears as though question #6 needs some clarification!!

Please go back and re-answer if you guessed say.... fewer than say 8. In fact, anyone who wants to change their answer may. Here's why: I think some of you may not have realized or have forgotten that I was talking about getting a BOX of accessories from the Once Upon a Toy Store in DTD- the kind that you fill 'til full and pay a flat rate of $20.

On top of that I put out a call for whoever would like to- send me an accessory for him/her to wear during our trip themed to a Park or specific land.

So, now, I"ll ask the question again: How many new accessories will Tate O'Patty get (both from the store and/or from his DISPals)??

DHS day - not much to comment on - LOL!

I can't remember which days you are doing DHS or what time you will get there each of those days but TSM fastpasses often run out by noon so make sure you factor that in to your touring.

We are not big Boma fans but I know a lot of people love it. Though I did really enjoy the soups and desserts!

Glad you have your plumbing issues resolved! I cannot imagine dealing with the things you deal with so don't ever feel like you are complaining!

So true; we'll try to make it by 12:00 or so. We have another morning there- the day we go to Beaches and Cream. I think a day and a half oughtta give us enough time to see what we want to.

I only have heard great things about the soups at Boma!! I can't wait- in fact, I would't feel badly whatsoever about making a whole meal of soup and Zebra domes.

Truly, I try not to complain!! That doesn't help or change things. If I can find any comic relief here- it does help my outlook, though ;)
