An Invasion of a "STRANGER" Kind.... NEW THREAD IS UP!! Go Thee NOW!

You guys have been haveing some fun this morning! I hate to break it to you, but Mom's got a meeting to go to, and she's getting ready now. And why can I only see half of the smilies on the row all the way on the right?? anyone else have that problem? I find it rather annoying.

Uh-huh! Now instead of only having 10 minutes in each country (seriously! I was going to try it- crazy, I know!) I have from after my 1:00 at Rose and Crown til midnight. Now, ain't that cool?!

Now that's a lot of time to drink arou... I mean explore around the world showcase!!!! :thumbsup2

Very cool! I'm a slow shopper because I can't make up my mind. Having a shopping tour before I have to commit would probably help.

Good Morning Liesa, did you get the sewer problems sorted out? :goodvibes

Thanks for the info - it sounds like something I might be able to manage. I have asthma, too, and its prevented me from getting very far with running in the past. But my theory is if I work my way into it really slowly that maybe my lungs will build up more strength. I don't know if it'll work, but I want to try.

The funny thing is, I've NEVER had asthma until I started with this. :confused3 I'm hoping it is just a little cold like thing that's sitting in there and being pesky. My attempts keep getting thwarted with icky weather. Yes! I'm a total baby about the cold or wind. I DO NOT like getting otu there when it's not just perfect- probably a good reason my body is also less than... :confused3:lmao:

Well, my new "lung doctor" keeps telling me that the best thing for my asthma is to make sure to breath through the nose - even when running. Took some time to adjust to that, but it actually works fine. :thumbsup2 Luckily my asthma is very mild and mainly just allergy related.

I need to go back and take a look at the spa menu again. A scented bath might be rather invigorating!! :cloud9:

Great idea! especially since I am not so convinced that you will have so much fun with the soak you intended to have in your hotel room with a Basin bath bomb. These tubs are horribly flat. :scared1:

Shopping around the world in 120 minutes!!! I think you need to be grateful to Disney that they cancelled those parties so you won't harm yourself in your attempt to shop in 120 minutes!! :goodvibes

Meeting? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Spent the morning planning for our big event (Seder meal) on Saturday. Doing one in English is hard enough. I do have a translator for it, but still lots of prep!

Now that's a lot of time to drink arou... I mean explore around the world showcase!!!! :thumbsup2

can't guarantee there won't be some of that too. Several sound so good! But if I don't exert some amount of self-control, I fear I may go "slightly" over budget. :lmao: (with souvies)

Very cool! I'm a slow shopper because I can't make up my mind. Having a shopping tour before I have to commit would probably help.

Not me. If anything I tend to go way too fast, and make hasty decisions. But, with my list of ideas already to go (I did a lot of research on this!) I don't think it will take too long.

No. We are now waiting for the line to clear well, so Mike and patch a hole in the pipe with some cement. After that he can pump again- with hopefully a better suction on it. Meanwhile, it'll be 24 hours of "digging a hole" or using the neighbors outhouse. Please, God! Please let it be poop on the rim free! :worship::worship::worship:

Yesterday, he was trying to fix some electrical problems at the office, but made a HUGE mistake and crossed some wires. When they "turned it on", several expensive transformers, monitors, and printers bit the big one. He is discouraged, and pretty deflated. Poor guy! He just can't wait to get home. He is spending all morning at the electronic repair places trying to get things fixed.

Seems like sound advice! I'll have to give that a try!

I've only ever stayed at the Fort, so don't know too much about the tubs at the mods. or deluxes. Shallow is NO good. I hope at least the water is HOT!!! I like my baths SUPER HOT!!

HA! It'd be just my luck to get a hernia trying to secure the best salt and pepper shakers. :rotfl2: Might have been a fun challenge though. I could make a reality TV show of it! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

In light of recent events, you all know that I've had to go back to the drawing board, of which I am now thoroughly and intimately acquainted, and had to refine my plans for Day 2 which will now be NOT at an MNSSHP!

Actually, not much changed, and here's what Day 2 looks like now:

Rope Drop at 9:00 at MK

Stay til 12:00, Leave by monorail to EPCOT

1:00- ADR at Rose and Crown

2:30- 12 AM- EPCOT- Where I'll shop, cruise WS until they are sick of seeing me, and spend some time in Innoventions for my free souvenirs.

I very well might also throw in a Seeds Tour on this day. Heck, I might even throw in a Kim Mission. :confused3

That's it! Pretty simple, yet lots of doors wide open. Oodles of time to sit and contemplate. Can't rule out a stop into the Ditch where I can sip a marg, and catch up with my TR journaling. Plenty of spare hours to do just about anything I want!! I might even (GASP!) park hop- :scared1:

Hopefully, tomorrow or Monday, I'll put ALL of Days 1-6 up there, so you can see the BIG picture. Then we'll move onto the 2nd half of the trip with Days 7-13.

Sound like a plan??

5 hours later and I'm back on here. Juliana had a tough night sleeping. She had Mel up every 2 hours. I think Ana officially has a cold.:sad2:

Needless to say I'm tired.

Well that doesn't sound like much fun. :sad2:

Oh Geez!!! Hope he is able to get some of this fixed!

Your day 2 sounds enjoyable... even without that horrible, rotten, no good, MNSSHP. ;)

Don't forget about that grey goose slushy. Although from what the wives told me, the one in DTD was a little more potent! :)

Oh no, that sounds really depressing!! :scared1:

And I hope you will get through the the next 24 hours somehow...

I've been through my fair share of walking around zombie like after a tough night!! I hope she gets better really soon! Being sick is NO fun for anyone!

NO! But on the bright side, he JUST told me that by changing a few diodes in the office alarm system, they were able to bring that back online. Phew!!

One monitor suddenly started working again- I think Someone is looking out for us... but a few more items will need more looking at.

On my list! As is a Habibi Daquiri! ;)

It is! When I said he's ready to get home, I meant REALLY HOME!! He is so tired of spending the majority of his time at the tax office, fixing things, and translating, as opposed to doing water projects, he is ready to throw in the towel- TODAY!!

Yes, that's the way I understood it. I guess once you have settled on returning, all your motivation to get through hard times and put up with inconveniences really dissappears. :goodvibes

Good morning Liessa !!! Your revised plans look good .. very relaxing !!! Off to work in a few Judy had my car today as hers is in the shop so she will have to chaffeur me if I need it!!!!Gotta go to the bank for work and to a MEETING!!! This one is gonna be interesting as it is for our resident WHINER!!!!:rotfl2:

Wish I could send my electrician hubby over to help!

I didn't sleep much last night either - maybe we can keep each other awake today? I have a conference call, a meeting and some personal stuff to sneak in so I need to be semi-alert!

I think your revised day 2 plans sound great and I would love a recap of the first half of the trips plans!

yeah, we're pretty much "on the way out" now. Packing, selling, negotiating the sale of our house, etc... unfortunately, we'll have to use the restroom until the day we leave...

Morning, Rosie!!

Good luck on all your stuff today! That's a lot!

Me too!! usually he's pretty handy, and can tackle projects like this. But things are so different around here, it's easy to make a silly mistake.

Re-cap coming up soon!

you could hold it....:lmao:

Not with my advanced case of TBS!!!

Who was it that asked about the BFP?? Cynthia coined that term, and I like it so much, I decided to use it- it stands for BIG FAT PLAN.

Hoop is so fun! Your girls are gonna love it! (The sangria ain't bad either... not great, but not bad)

I'm just like that. I LOVE to get outside for some exercise in the spring or fall when the weather is lovely. The rest of the year? Forget it. Guess I could get a treadmill...

Kids or 'girls'?:scratchin:scratchin

The kids ARE girls! Oh, you were wondering... I get it.

I'm a wuss, with a capital W!!! If it'n ain't 72, fuh-ged-a-boud it!!

:lmao::lmao::lmao: Yeah, those kids.

Ahhh, the house is quiet. The sewer line is patched with cement; the dishes have been done, and the water tossed out; my kids have taken their last "trip" out to the garden to do their business (I hope!); and I finally get a few minutes of uninterupted time here with you.

I thought I should go ahead and post the wrap up of Days 1-6 now, as the next couple of days are going to be pretty busy with other stuff like quilting class, and a dinner party. Lot's going on!

I thought and thought about the best format to do this, but really didn't get very far. I thought maybe do up some other, simplified spreadsheet and turn it into a jpg. Naw, too much work. Take a picture of my current spreadsheet and upload to PB. Naw, you don't care about what snack options go with which day (or do you? :confused3).

In the end, I decided to stick with what I know, and do best. Take the easy way out, and just type up something here, and plop it out there for you. Like Nemo in the spit bowl.

I like it because:

I get all 4 parks on my solo days- with the most time being spent in my favorite park.

LeeAnn gets to see all 4 parks on her first 3 days.

It's a good mix of hard core touring AND a bunch of relax time built in.

It's a good mix of TS AND CS eats.

Looking forward to your thoughts, All!
