An Invasion of a "STRANGER" Kind.... NEW THREAD IS UP!! Go Thee NOW!

I'll go with C) LATER this time. And please write this down in ink ;)

I liked you blog post - intersting thing about the flowers. I love those little cultural differences which can become quite a BIG problem if you don't know about them!!!

Not just any ink- it's in RED ink!! :rolleyes1

There are so many of those little things that can get one into BIG trouble! We used to play a little game with our kids by "pulling off their noses" by putting our thumbs in between our first and middle fingers. We learned very quickly, that that was tantamount to doing something even worse than flipping someone the bird. I was so glad it was our househelper that taught us this, and not some guest or something!!!! :scared1:

CLOWNS!!?? :scared1: How does that even remotely fit into Disney??!

It's going to be next to Dumbo, so they have a circus theme going on there. I would have liked it if they had turned into Casey Jr Circus train like they have at DL. Does that make more sense now? :goodvibes

:thumbsup2
tied with big sister :cheer2::cheer2:

Ok, I need to work hard in order to get untied with my little sister - and not in the way that she scores better than me!!

That's a funny story! :goodvibes You would be safe to play that game in Germany, we do that, too!

I am really amazed that you did not get trails end... I think that there might be set times in the ADR system for certain party sizes. I was wondering about that when we did our ADRs. We were not able to get a 7:30 ADR for two people at any restaurant. Even though there was wide availability at that restaurant all the time until our trip... So it wasn't that the place we full, but the system just wouldn't give us a table at that time. :confused3

But I will say that you got Ohana on time! It's A again for me! :thumbsup2

Totally makes more sense now. But you're right!! I love both the Casey Jr. AND the Story Boats. I wish both were at WDW!!

So a little friendly family competition is going to ensue...

I'm sure if we make it to Germany, I"ll do something idiotic to embarrass myself. :sad2::lmao:

That's certainly a viable theory with tables, party sizes and times.:idea: Set times for certain #s might make sense for things. I wonder if she called back and went with a table for 3 if we'd get something?? Just to see, mind you! ;)

Liesa, I don't want to disturb your game, but I was so amazed at the Trail's End oucome that I actually went and had a look at the WDW online ADR system. I would have been able to get 5:30pm for 2 people for any day in September... :confused3 It might be worth trying what you can get there and then just cancel the ones you got before?

It seems that a number of times only open up after the 180 day mark. The whole system is so strange... Oh and there was a table for one available at the HBD for 6:45pm as well.

I'm having doubts about my guess this time, but I'm going to say on time. :thumbsup2

OK, Carissa! I've got it down!

Now, What's up with that??!! Why would they be different calling vs. online?? :confused3 I'm going to talk with maroo in a bit, and see if she can go online and get that HBD one! I like the later time better.

This whole thing is so screwy to me!!

The entire dining ADR thing at Disney is just screwy. I've given up trying to understand it. I don't know how many times on my most recent trip the restaurants were only partially filled, but not ADRs had been available. I think their new online system has a lot of bugs.

This round I'm going to go with on time. It's an odd enough time that Disney might have let it slide.

I am NOT copying Carissa

However I too am going to go with on time.

Living on the edge I am.

I'm going with ON TIME for O'hana

About the Fantasyland expansion, not sure if anyone has read this but here's a blurb I found at AllEars:

Walt Disney World has broken ground for the Magic Kingdom's much-anticipated Fantasyland expansion. AllEars.Net's Deb Wills attended the D23 Anniversary party held in Magic Kingdom last week, where Disney Imagineer Mark Cole updated D23 members on the expansion. In addition to his overview and slide presentation, he answered questions from the audience. Based on what she learned there, Wills reports: "The expansion will be in two phases, the first of which, Fantasyland Forest, is slated to open October 2012, with the Pixie Hollow to open about a year later. A Toontown closing date has not been determined, but Disney is planning to give guests advance warning. As part of the expansion, the Toontown train station will either be refreshed on replaced. A new overlay for Goofy's Barnstormer is being discussed, but has not yet been decided upon. Mickey's and Minnie's houses will not be eliminated. Once the new Dumbo comes online, the current classic Dumbo will be moved into its new location, right above where the teacups are located today. The Imagineers are focusing on experiences for both girls and boys, and are conducting focus groups, testing to see what experiences will be enjoyed. The expansion project is scheduled to be completed in 2013. "

I thought I read somewhere that they won't start closing things until near the end of this year to give everyone a chance to see Fantasyland one last time. Don't quote me on that though

I was going to copy Cynthia, she seems to know what she's doing, but I can't bring myself to put down "on time". Did Carissa post yet?

Oh well, I'm going with Earlier.

Yes, I posted before Cynthia. I also put on time, but my gut said earlier. I probably should have gone with my gut, but it was the time "6:40" that screamed on time to me. I dunno. I probably overthink it too much. :rolleyes1

2 tidbits...

1) Does it grieve anyone else to see GB's TR in the completed section??

2) For those of you who read... I've updated my blog. Enjoy!

Yes! I miss his TR already! (I guess I could go back and re-read it;))

Off to read your blog...

Oh, and my answer is: Ohana - Early

I'm going with later.....

I suck at this game!
