An interesting thing I learned a few days ago...

I called Disney Dining to confirm my adr's for my August and November trips (DD's a CM , otherwise no way would we go twice in one year). The CM was very nice, but when she checked she reacted " Wow, there's a lot here!!"

I was surprised to learn that not only did she have record of what I had booked, she also had record of everything I had cancelled!!
I felt sorry for her when we had to wade through the MANY places to confirm what I really wanted! I was surprised that they keep on file the places that you cancel!

that is interesting...I didn't know they kept a record of everything that was cancelled.

Found this out many trips ago. I asked for a print-out of our adrs and the list included not only the current trip, but prior and future ones. It didn't only include cancellations, but also had a code for no-shows.

Dont feel too bad, there are GIANT red x's next to the cancelled res's so its easy to sort through them

Oh ya - 3 days ago, I had 2 ressies to cancel. I told the CM that I had the numbers whenever she was ready. She said, "Actually I have an easier way...." I knew what was coming. She asked for my phone number.... OH THE HORROR! *Gulp* I said the numbers very cautiously - a split second later she gasped and actually said, "Wow!" aloud. I was mortified! I said, "You can see the cancelled ones, can't you?" She said yes, and I apologized...lol...so embarrassing!

That's too funny I hope they don't keep track of the # of times a day you try to get an ADR. We took a last minute trip in April and there were a few TSs I really wanted. Is 7 or 8 tries a day excessive?

I guess it's because she's in the system next alphabetically. Then I say it's my husband and I get "Exxxxxx?" Who is my father-in-law. Then we finally get to "Rxxxxxx".

With this info I think I will avoid asking for a printout of my ADR's. Don't want to kill too many trees

That happens to my mom too, though it's not in alphabetical order. She laughs so hard every time. Recently, they asked to confirm the email address and they said mine and my mom was like no, that's my daughter's and they go "oh then your's is xxxx@xxxxx.com?"
