An Inconvenient Truth: happyhaunt Style! (New... pg. 113!)

Tommy had his floaty suit on and was paddling around in front of me. Trying to dive down. To the bottom of the pool.

Kept popping up. He could barely get under the water.

Still... he was busy and safe.

This is exactly what DH does on vacation. So freaky borg!

I'm so freaked out I'm gonna have to shave my toes and start posting under an assumed name.

Mel, I loved the part about you and MellyMan. So funny. And real.

SO REAL.

It's all so real. That's why we all eat this stuff up with a spoon. It's real and it's funny. And, yes, I'll go ahead and say it. It's real funny.

Keep rockin' hard, Melly.

We love it!

the Art of The Dutch Oven.
Those of us in the Farting Community are very familiar with the Dutch Oven. It's about time it showed up in someone's TR.

Big surprise: it's yours.

It's good that Tommy has Calvin to show him how to pee on the trees. I don't have an older brother. I had to learn to pee on trees all by myself.

From day ONE... Tommy has been Calvin's favourite person. Who, by chance of birth order, has less power. Than he has.

Is smaller.

Slower.

Gentler... by nature.

Frightens easily.

And shares his bedroom.

See, being Silly and all, it works a little differently in our house.
Our third and youngest also happens to be the only girl. Sophia.

No one has more power in our house. Except maybe the dog. Sometimes.

Before she could talk, when she was just pulling to a standing position... she would crawl over to where ever Max (poor sweet stuck in the middle Max) was sitting, minding his own bees wax, quietly, calmly, sweetly.. and she would use him to achieve the standing position.

To be exact she would use fistfuls of his hair.

She would get the biggest grin on her face.

He would just sit there and say "So-phee pweas wet go"

Ah... memories...

I don't have any siblings, but my twin cousins used to play these same games with me on vacation. They are 8 months younger than me, but that didn't matter when we were younger, because they always seemed to be bigger than me since they were boys. Mel is right though, in the end it will make him stronger.

By the way, I would consider swimming through shark infested waters for a Dole Whip. I just  love those things so much. And sharks aren't too scary until they smell blood, I guess I would have to specify what type and size sharks I would do that for though.

Thanks for the report, I'm really enjoying it!

Thanks for reading.

I didn't have any siblings either.

But... I always had a few friends who were willing to try and drown me.

Heh heh.

I also had a SHARK. Who wasn't that scary.

I seem to have misplaced him tho.

Then again... I heard he's on a diet. And he's probably busy chewing his own fin off.

Right about now.

Cheers, Mel.

so true.........i'm the youngest girl of three.....my older sis and bro totally tormented me but I luv em dearly.......my sister anyway.

if your own siblings don't teach you....who will????????

I didn't mean to quote the above things.

I really wanted to quote your edit.

Don't know how tho.

Can't be bothered finding out.

Anywho... SHULA is KILLING ME(L)!

These days.

All I can do is go into a rage, shake my head and then I might as well go for a Yoo Hoo.

Thanks for readin'.

Cheers, Mel.

Alrighty...

UTAH ~ You DID get the wooo hoooty! Wakey wakey eggs and bakey, Girlfriend! I'm gonna take a page from you and try and respond better now. Here. If I can stay out of trouble.

Thanks for playin'.

La La ~ Don't forget that YOU'RE the one who makes me want to Yoo Hoo.

No.

That's wrong.

YOU make me want to la la. Now then: Start with your upper lip and move in a southern direction towards the toes. You hairy beast.

Just sayin'.

ZZUB ~ You had no older brother to teach you? Then... how do you know if you're doing it right? Here's a hint: Skip the faux tree in the pot beside your office window. For starters. Also... it appears no one taught you to spell either.

Me either.

Then, again, ROLL TIDE, MEAN IT! Is the LICK! When I first saw that I did summersaults of joy. It was THAT fine.

So... thanks... for...whatever.

Haley ~ The natural order is all screwed up in your house. Next thing you'll be telling me is that Mr. Silli has a bigger head than you, more power and has attempted to take over the world.

In his free time.

Thanks... for worrying Me(l).

Cheers, Mel.

P.S. Where's Sher? I miss her.

Calvin launched himself at me. From across the room. And BIT me.

Just once.

But... enough to draw blood.

On my butt-cheek.

Were you changing the diaper naked? Cause I'm thinkin' a four year would have a hard time drawing blood through your blue jeans. That was a rhetorical question. TFI.

I decided to jump in too.

And play a little something something called, "Looky! I'm bigger than YOU, Calvin, and I'm gonna teach you a little something something!"

It was a fun little something. Something.

Tommy enjoyed it fully and, truthfully, it put a smile on Calvin's face.

Nothing he likes better than being manhandled. In this case: Mommyhandled.

That's the sign of a good mom, Mel. Getting out there and having fun with the kids. That's what they'll remember.

Now all seriousness aside. I think we've been over this before. But you simply can NOT spell out "something". Ever. Even when you know better.

Great installment. Hilarious as usual. Keep it comin' Melly. :sunny:

Just waitin' for more ...trippie that is. popcorn::

I don't post very often, but I FINALLY got caught up with your report and want to add my name to the very long list of your fans.

Can I mention that I was 5 months pregnant when you started the report and I am now sitting here with my 11 week old baby? She is anxiously awaiting the end of your report so that I will stop laughing while feeding her. I think she finds it a little distracting.

Took me several days to get to page 101. I foolishly thought.. 101 pages.. thank goodness it is a completed trip report.. I was WRONG :rotfl2: .

I have to admit the one thing that actually made me Laugh the hardest and longest was that duck walking right into the lamp post...

I was amused and even moved by several of your postings.. but the duck :rotfl2: made me laugh out loud!!!!

Now please finish :yay: :rotfl:

I noticed it has been meaner also. I get on a thread and I cannot believe how rude people are to one another. I was just talking to my DH about this on the way home from dinner. Someone will come on and ask a question, maybe they are new.. but people just start saying the rudest things to them.. This is supposed to be a place to talk about what we all love. DISNEY.. the happiest place on earth.. yet people can just be plain MEAN. It is very sad really..

I hope that the majority of people asking for Mel to finish are just playing with her... I love her story so far.. and am waiting for the ending.

Please report these posts. It is a sad day when DIS members are rude to each other. The Trip Reports board is a place to share your WDW trip with everyone. Yes their are guidelines, no profanity, no sexual Innuendo's, no attacking of other DIS members, moderator's or webmaster's or owner Pete. Which means being kind to each other.

We hope to see Mel "Happyhaunt" continuing posting. Her style of writing and longevity of a Trip Report is just as entertaining as DIS members that come on here and can make a TR post and have it done it one post.

Hi Mel,
Been lurking and really enjoying your reports. Did I miss something because right now I am a bit confused since you haven't posted since Halloween and I can't find your other TR. OK OK it is not that difficult to confuse me; but still where are ya :goodvibes

Hey Melly Girl - finally got caught up. I just spent the day getting drunk on fine wine in Napa. Found it is a lot easier to get drunk when you are taking that TV Relicor stuff and dont really eat any more. But, hey - down 5 lbs so far and I have till April to lose another 10. Who needs food if it isn't at Disney?

I also invented a new frozen drink - the BamaKoala - in your honor or your kids honor. It's bright green and has a plastic monkey hanging off the side. Because everything is better with a monkey!

Keep'm coming! I'm off to Disneyland this weekend. I guess I can't post my report here can I? Need more wine. :dance3:

OK so a few things here:

1. I have not read this TR until now...NOVEMBER. I see it was ACTUALLY started in JUNE! SHOCK. Is there not a rule that we TR reporters have to wait like 6 mos before writing? Have I been gone THAT long?

2. Is this still cool? :moped: and does it signify what it use to or is there a new and improved joke behind it now?

3. I am almost certain I could loose my job after cut and pasting 200 pages of your TR onto Word and using school resources to do so. ?? !! ??

4. I had twelve-teen bikinis for my trip btw...remember that SALE I lead you too long. long ago?? Yeah...apparently a taught tummy and a new string bikini makes you WAY more popular with the tikibartender at the Poly than you were back in 2005. Just sadin. Or is that old too dangit?

5. When I open a MYSPACE acct and the question is WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO READ? And I answer TOOT (RIP) and Happyhaunts googly-woogly freakin' long TR...THAT I three hole punched and BARELY fit into a 2 inch binder....

I think that means "EEEEKK OOORRA OOGGHH AARGH."

OR
"your one crazy lady" in Koalanese.

ANYWAY what I am saying here is I am only on pg 24. I am sure the admin will be coming to inspect room 207 any second now for illegal use of the internet and school printing paper so I better jet.

You know I love you, your TR, AND bikinis.

aloha Mel.

Your disfan 4 ever.

It was there...I swear...The other trippie...

Dangit..I didn't get to read any of it. Anybody see a lost trippie layin' around somewhares??

Mel~ Ya okay? I'm fine, just a little sad cause I miss ya.

The other one was moved to the completed TR board. I think because it had been so long since an update was posted.

and when Mel wants to finish it ...one of the mods will be glad to retrieve it and put it back here WHERE IT BELONGS>....
