Just because we don't tell the employees doesn't mean it doesn't exist. We recently had to block websites where people could download screensavers because, although they were innocuous in the beginning, they started bringing other files onto the systems along with the screen shots. People here were P.O.'d, but too bad. We can't risk taking down the network so they can have a cool looking screensaver. If you tried to circumvent a block on my network, you'd be in huge trouble for misuse of company resources, and I'd be the first one to rat you out. Ok, off my soapbox.

Some very good advice. As a matter of fact, my company fires people for misuse of company resources, and internet connections are considered one of those resources.

Why doesn't she just get a home computer?
