we leave saturday and I had know idea the water parks ould be open.. so I am assuming the water is heated but brrrrrr going from one thing to another...anyone ever do the water parks in Dec.. :smooth: :smooth: :earseek:

I'm sure there are others who might not have realized that, throughout the winter, they ensure at least one of the water parks is open. Your message will hopefully delight some other folks too!

BTW: The water is heated. The air is cold. :)

Hehe, I didn't know that one of the water parks was open either!!

We did the water park last December, that day the high temp was about 77, more then warm for us because we are from Northern WI we would have swam if it was 57!! We will be there next Dec, and hoping to swim again.

We did a water park day in early January last year. It was in the high 70s and I was never cold. I thought it was fun to go to the water park in January, since back home they were having the worst storm of the winter. We came home to 8 feet of snow.

Resorts heat at least one pool to, I believe, 85 degrees. Winter is when the water parks get rehabbed, but only one at a time.

Usually either Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon is closed. They alternate for their annual rehab. Blizzard Beach is closed until 12/25, then Typhoon Lagoon is closed 12/26 to 2/26.
