an extra EE or Toon town madness thing...

If I book with disney, I get an EE and the toon town thing. If I book with getawaytoday... I get two EE's.
We are going during spring break, so I know it will be busy. Do I go with the EE's or is the toon town thing worth missing out on an extra EE?

I'd rather have 2 days of EE (now called MM). But:

How many days (& what days of the week) will you be there?
Where will you be staying?
What are the ages of your kids?

(maybe the answer would be different depending on the above.)

We will have 5 days in DL and will be in Anaheim from late in the evening of the 22 to the 29th of March. We plan on going to DL during the week, avoiding Easter on the 23... as I am assuming it would be more crowded on a Sunday and a holiday??

Kidos are 3&5.

We have not yet picked a hotel (we are last min. kinda people, but I think we will book in the next week) Right now my plan is to stay out of the DL area... Garden Grove or Buena Park.

Personally, I don't think that TT is worth it. I purchased the two EE(MM)s through getawaytoday, but also had a TT ticket for me and dd. Dh took the boys on Finding Nemo while we went to TT. I wish that we had gone to Nemo instead as I didn't think that the TT was worth it. They were late opening the gates that day, so we didn't even get back to TT until about 8:20, so there was no visiting with the charactesrs before the show. The show was cute, but not that different than a parade. Dd enjoyed it, but not immensely (age 2.7).

JMHO. Others may really love Toontown Morning Madness. Personally, I think you would get more out of two EEs with it being a busy week for spring break.

All else being equal I would choose two MM (EE) days over one MM day and a TTMM day.

Mickey's ToonTown Morning Madness consists of...

a small parade, which I assume is simply to get the performers to and/or from the stage area. There's a song and dance, then the deputy mayor introduces Mickey, who is the mayor. At some point between the opening of MTTMM and waiting for the events to start (they don't start right as the TT gates open, b/c that's at the same time the park opens to the general public, and they recognize that people need to walk to get to TT) they will have chosen an honorary family for the event. They introduce the family, family says hi.

That's where my knowledge ends b/c we were that family, and as soon as we said we were from Tacoma WA, the skies opened up and it started pouring, the likes of which I hadn't seen since in lived in the South. Everyone ran to shelter. Which was Mickey's House, and all the characters were spread throughout the house (I assume on a normal day the characters wouldn't ALL be in the house).

We've been to TT twice since, and it was just as pleasant and relatively simple to get characters' autographs (though perhaps a bit more walking was involved, and it was several lines instead of one LONG line).

If I were doing it again, I would get the 2 MMs, especially during spring break. Remember, you can book through costco and AAA, since they go through WDTC, and you get their little perks, just like booking directly with disney (and the price MIGHT be cheaper than booking directly).
