Ok, it's a new day so I had to revisit this issue. It's amazing to me that people see my opinion as ugly, hateful and offensive.

Sorry, but the spewing, "shame on you!" at other posters is more offensive than anything JC wrote. It's ugly and hateful.

I accepted the OP's apology. And stated that I was saddened that people made light of others being offended by the JC posts.

Some people are too serious and get their panties in a wad very easily. I only saw one person that took offense.....no big deal - don't sweat the small stuff.

Apology accepted even though I don't really think it was necessary.

Much ado about nothing.

I think a person who offends others and doesn't care because they find it funny should be ashamed of themselves. Would it be ok for someone to start up with jokes about homosexuals or people of different races? So what if they are offended if others find the jokes funny. Let's make fun of fat people or ugly people. If they don't like it let them go somewhere else. I think that attitude is wrong.

Wendy, It looks like to me it was shove and shove back between those two. I think the second poster (Tiziminchac) was being 'purposefully unkind and extremely offensive' because she felt like the first poster (Tiggersmom2) was being unkind to her and others who took offense at the OP's other posts (basically saying if you don't like it find another board). I don't think she was coming straight out of the blue with that 'shame on you' comment.

Either way, I don't know either of those posters but that was my reaction when reading their responses.

I'm sorry, I just don't get how I was being "purposefully unkind and extremely offensive" because I think someone should be ashamed for taking someone else's feelings with a grain of salt. Maybe I will never get it. And if I offended anyone by my opinion I apologize. And saying that, I'm done with this subject. I'm not going to stop Dis'ing. And I'll try not to be so thin-skinned in the future.

I don't see how you were being "purposefully unkind and extremely offensive" either....and I agree with you, anyone who makes light of someone else getting their feelings hurt or offended is really not being very gracious. I don't consider myself particulary thin skinned, either. And I'm certainly not going anywhere and I'm glad you aren't either.
