Haven't had time to write my own report yet, but thought you would get a kick out of my daughters report that she wrote for school:

My Disney Cruise Vacation by Gina

I had the best time on my vacation. First I had to wake up early in the morning to get in a limo. The limo drove us to the airport where we went on a five-hour flight. When we were up in the sky I saw baseball fields, cars that looked like ants, and even skyscrapers! When we were finally done going on planes for the day, we went on a Disney bus to the Disney Magic. While everyone was riding in the bus I fell asleep for about an hour. I was pooped!

When we got to the boat my eyes opened wide and I was about to faint. The ship was as big as the Titanic! I was amazed. When I got on the ship I went to my cabin. The number of my cabin was 2544. It was so big. Also the cabin had a porthole right by my bed!

Sunday and Monday we went in the pools. There was one pool for little kids called the Mickey pool, there was another pool for families called Goofy’s pool, and there was one more pool only for adults. I also saw shows in the Walt Disney Theater.

At night the food was great! The waiters we had were Marc and Yoon. They treated us like kings and queens. After dinner there was a lab that I went to from 10:00pm to 1:00am. When I got back from the lab every night, I felt sleepy, but not too sleepy to order room service every night. Most nights I ordered chicken tenders and french fries and a Mickey ice cream pop. My dad always ordered a cheese and crackers platter. My Mom usually fell asleep while we were eating our snacks.

On Tuesday, we went to St. Marten. Half of the country is French and the other half is Dutch. On the island, there were very poor people. I felt bad for them. Our excursion was the dolphin and stingray encounter. When we got there we kissed the dolphins, touched the dolphins, and gave them high fives. The stingrays I was afraid of, so I didn’t like that as much as the dolphins. I also saw hermit crabs and turtles there. It was so much fun.

On Wednesday, we went to St. Thomas. Not as many people were poor there. In St. Thomas, we went on a submarine and saw lots of sharks and fishes. We went over 80 feet below the sea. It was amazing.

On Friday, we went to the Disney Island called Castaway Cay. When we got there my Dad and I went parasailing while my Mom tried to watch us. We went up 400 feet. My legs were shaking!

Saturday was the saddest day of my life, we had to leave. We had to go back on the plane and when we got to the airport, we went back home in a limo. I fell asleep at 6:30 p.m. and I didn’t wake up till Sunday morning at 6:30 am. Even though I twisted my ankle at the lab, I still had fun.

Great job Gina! Glad to hear you had such an awesome time and hope you ankle is better.

Thanks for sharing sillysmom!

Gina, Great Report!!! Hope your teacher and friend enjoyed it, and maybe some of them will now like to try a Disney Cruise.

Sillysmom, Thanks so much for sharing. It is great to get the perspective of a child. She has a great ability to recall and record her experiences. Sounds like she is ready to book the next cruise SOON!! I hope she got a good grade on the report. It was SUPER!!

Thanks for all the kind words, Gina didn't know I posted it, so she was very excited to read your kind words. For Emmasgramma, we rebooked on the cruise. Her teacher hung her report up for the class to read, and then asked her to bring in the DCL dvd for her to borrow! Maybe we'll see her on a cruise soon.

Way to go Gina! Great report!
You are way more organized than I am!
I was thinking of writing a report but haven't written a single thing!

We enjoyed meeting you and your family!
Hopefully we will see you on another cruise one day!

Thanks for posting - we don't see reports from the younger set very often.

Gina, what a great writer you are! I'm glad you had such a wonderful time. My eight year old daughter is taking her first Disney cruise this summer. I hope she enjoys our trip as much as you did. Lucky you ~ you get to go on another cruise!

Nice job, Gina! I felt like I was right there with you.
