Hi everyone!
Thank you so much for the well wishes with my knee. It is doing so much better! It's still a little numb, but it is getting back to normal! I'm walking normally now (actually walked around the entire Franklin Mills Mall yesterday which is a big mall if you have never been there).
Anyway, I have a reception update!!!!
We went to Saucon Valley Acres tonight to do reception planning/food tasting. It was so much fun! We tasted the meatballs, asparagus wrapped in pastry, mini beef wellington, bacon wrapped scallops, roasted red potatoes in a herb and garlic butter (OMG, they were great!), beef burgundy and chicken picante. It was sooooooooo good! The beef burgundy, I can't even describe how yummy it is! We talked about my mom (who is a celiac- she can't eat anything with wheat, gluten, modified food starch, and many other things) and they said that they could make her food with corn starch instead. We also talked about Dave's uncle who is a vegan. They were great and just told us to let them know what they could both eat and they would make something for both of them!

They also said it was OK to bring in a small cake my mom can eat!
So...here is our menu........ drum roll please:

So there it is!
We are also having a traditional head table with the entire wedding party. We are going to do our first dance right after we are introduced (our first dance is to "So This Is Love" from Cinderella

) followed by the toasts and the blessing then dinner!
The cocktail hour is going to start at 4:30pm (the ceremony is going to be at 2:30pm). Saucon Valley Acres doesn't have an alcohol license, so we have to bring our own liquor which is not a problem. They do arrange to have kegs delivered so we are going to have Yuengling and Miller Light (I think it's Miller Light) on tap. My sister is on a cruise and picked up some alcohol today at one of the islands. I'm not sure what she got, I'll post that after she gets home on Saturday.
I am really excited for the wedding!!!! I can't wait!
Thanks for reading and I will update again soon!
