Amish in the City -- anyone watching it?

I forgot about this show, meant to watch the premiere on vacation but couldn't get it on the satellite. Is it any good? I hate Reality TV but this sounds fascinating.

What station is it on. I saw someone on Live with REgis and Kelly today. I think it would be interseting.

I saw the first couple of episodes. Not what I expected.

They put 5 young Amish people (late teens - mid-20s?) in a house with 6 mostly obnoxious "city kids" of the same age group. Then they create situations to put them in, and we see how the groups react to each other. Of course, like Survivor and other "reality" shows, they obviously pick some of the people for their potential to create drama. There's a vegan woman ("city kid") who the group chooses to send along with two other people grocery shopping, and she doesn't want to buy "chicken abortions" (eggs).

That's it in a nutshell. You have to see it to know what I mean.

It's on the WB here. We have seen it a few time. Its kinda like the real world meets the amish.

It's a shame the shows stinks because I think in concept it could have been a really interesting show. I would love to know more about how the Amish grew up and what they think about their Rumspringa. Instead they threw in the bratty city kids. It's like a really really screwed up version of the Real World.

I did read somewhere online though that Miriam is back with her family and is not talking to the media.

Mary Ann, I adore Mose also. Jonas also seems very intelligent and conflicted about what to do with his life.

And it's not on A&E, it's on UPN.

This show is hilarious! I also love Moses. He's totally going back to being Amish IMHO. The 2 Amish girls smoke like crazy. I don't get that. The blond-haired "Amish" chick parties more than the city kids, LOL! I can't wait for the next episode
