While that may be true, in that it is put out by Dole, it wouldn't be the first time that a company printed a recipe for people to recreate food items at home, only to find that some ingredients have been changed or modified to suit the home cooking situation (or possibly protect proprietary secrets). One that immediately comes to mind was that back in about 2014, Chipotle provided a recipe for Chipotle Ancho Chile Marinade for Chicken or Beef (along with other recipes for their salsas, etc.) I wish I had printed out or saved the actual link/article, as it is no longer available. (The
recipe is still out there, but the dialogue parts are missing.)What I do remember is the article basically saying, "Hey, this is a close representation of what you will get at Chipotle, but we have modified ingredients, etc. as bit for home cooks." I have made it. While it is good, it is not Chipotle authentic.
