Its on now, here in Miami, and so far Josh Gracin is A-OK! Haven't seen Clay as yet.

I was rather disappointed in the first Kimberly. I was expecting her to do better. The second Kimberly did a good job. Even Simon's pick, Carmen, did better than I expected.

I'm rooting for Clay but I really don't think that he will win. I love his voice!

Trenyce did well too.

Tonight I really liked Josh, Rickey, Clay, Vanessa, Carmen & Ruben!

Charles is so cute but just didn't sing real well tonight. Julia bugs me.

I didn't really care to see Clay back in geeky clothes again tonight, although I still think he's great. My family, all of us, thought the judges would comment on his clothes and were surprised that they didn't.

I thought Clay's clothes were weird too, but then he started singing and really pulled it off. Clay is my favorite, hands down. Some of the other's clothes choices bother me much more and continue to bug me while they're singing - like Charles' hat. I figure if your clothes are distracting that's not good.

I was dissappointed in the first Kimberley tonight too. I've never really liked the other Kimberley, but liked her song tonight - I think it was pitched a little higher and fit her better. I'm not crazy about Corey. Rueben has a great voice but I found myself flipping channels during his song.

I liked Trenyce so much the first show (when she got voted off) and I'm so glad she's proving her worth as a wild card. I just plain like her voice.

I really enjoyed the format of the show (I didn't watch last year) and can't even really guess who's going to go.

Carmen sure did make a comeback!! Motown is my FAVORITE kind of music. I loved all of the songs performed tonight.

I am sad to say that Charles did not do well.. I was pulling for him. As for tonights show.. jmho but....here goes

least favorite.. Julia.. ya..there is something I don't care for but I can not put my finger on it. Cory.. I just don't see it.
But to each his own..

I gotta say that I was impressed by all of the performances.. you could just see the hard work put into this show!

I have to root for the blonde Kimberly because we went to school together, back in the day . I think she'd be one of my favorites anyway though. I really like Josh and Clay, too. Am I the only one who finds it odd that Simon told Josh to lose a few pounds, but he doesnt say anything to Ruben?

The Other Kimberly was kind of disappointing tonight, we've seen her do so much better! And I just don't like Julia for some reason, although I can't pinpoint it.

Did anyone actually vote?

I did think it was interesting to hear that blond Kimberly was a professional performer for several years as a young teen. She has a definate stage presence which will give her an advantage.

I like the blonde Kimberly best, and I also like Clay. Both are very talented, imo, much more talented than the others.

Whats with the kid who is so good looking but can't sing? Is his name Corey? I couldn't believe it at the end when Simon was telling him how wild he is, and that pop stars should be wild. Shouldn't pop stars also be able to hit notes and carry a tune?

I liked Joshua, Carmen, Clay and Ruben. I don't like Kimberly (the blonde) or Corey at all. Is there only going to be one contestant voted off tonight?

I loved Joshua, Carmen, Clay and Reuben also. Used to like Julia, but not at this point. IMO, if Joshua were to lose a 'few pounds' it would be all muscle. I think poor Charley will be the first to go. I was hoping for better from him. Oh well.

I was looking for someone to mention this but maybe it was just me. Did Ricky (aka Hercules) completely miss the start of his song? None of the judges said anything which really surprised me. I think he has my vote to leave tonight. Everyone sang so much better last night and they all sounded better than last year's group (except maybe one or two) but overall, WOW! I can see this getting really tough over the next couple of weeks. My favorites are Clay, Carmen and Josh.

Yep, I saw it too. Ricky totally missed his cue!

I so wish Corey would be the first to be voted off. I haven't understood the judges' attitudes towards him from the beginning.

Julia sang okay, but she needs some moves! She was doing the Brady Bunch dance while she sang. At least she kept the Elvis lip-curling to a minimum this round.

I thought that Josh, blonde Kimberly, Clay, and Reuben did a great job.

I have to say they all did a very good job last night.. Love Ruben and Clay, although I did not think that was a great song for Clay... I thought Trenyce did a wonderful job and Carmen as well.. I cannot believe I did not vote last night.. I just left it in everyone else's hands and did not want the responsibility..

Clay and Josh and hope they go all the way, but, it looks to me llike Blonde Kimberly will get it and most likely Rueben. Rueben did "OK" last night, but Clay was MUCH better and Josh was the BOMB!! Trenyce reminds me sooo much of the girl from last season, from Ft. lauderdale Fl. (having a Senior Moment can't remember her name) Anyways, I REALLY enjoyed the show, and think the first Kimberly will be voted OFF!

NO! Rickey didn't miss the beginning of his song! You could see that he was singing. I think it must have been a microphone problem that affected the TV broadcast, but didn't occur in the theater. That's why the judges didn't mention it.

I think that either Julia or Charles will be gone after last night. I was disappointed with the first Kimberly's performance too. I had high hopes for her.

I am so impressed with Clay's ease on stage, but agree that the geeky buttoned up shirt was disappointing.

I thought that Clay, Trenyce and Joshua did the best.

Well, I definitely thought the first Kimberly didn't do anywhere near as well as before!! I really expected her to do better!!

The second Kimberly was great though! I really liked her and she had a great attitude to boot!!

Clay was awesome! Ruben was excellent...Carmen was really good as well...The rest were just okay to me...I really like Clay and Ruben the best though!

I was REALLY impressed with the show last night. Unlike the first American Idol, I thought the level of the performers is MUCH superior. Dh and I both think Clay is by far the best singer. Then, 5 or 6 of the others are a distant second (JMHO). What a talented bunch of singers! I'm really enjoying the show.

I am just weeping for joy that I have found some others that feel about Julia the same way I do. I can't wait for that girl to go away.

I love Josh!!! That wasn't the greatest performance, but ya know what the push ups were enough for me. But Simon was right about the necklace. And did anyone else notice Corey had on the same necklace or one VERY similar to it. Yick Corey, I don't see what the big deal is. Clay was awesome (just need to work on the clothes) and Ruben was great (another one needing to work on the clothes). The ladies are not really impressing me in this competition, though I was pleasently surprised by Carmen.
