I love how Simon is so honest and he REALLY has a good ear for music. If anyone has picked these contestants out, it's him. He knows sure well who has potential and who doesn't.
Like Mickey1122, I can't stand that drunk, tone deaf, woman who sits next to Simon lol. I swear, I think she was drunk on the show a few times during the finals last season lol.
I don't think Randy knows what he's really doing lol. He will say a few things to make himself sound cool and knowledgable of what he hears, but I think he just breathes off of what Simon says lol. Paula doesn't know what the heck music is if it came up to her and bit her on the nose lol.
My favorite contestant was Chris from last season. Then, of course, I am a fan of rock (the decent rock, not some of that junk played today lol) and of the many, I think he should have won.
My least favorite contestant? Oh gosh...there are many rofl. There was one guy that seemed to go far, I forgot his name, and I kept thinking to myself, "why!?!" lol.
I favorite winner? I don't have one lol. I think Kelly was the only "real" winner...ever other winner comes off the show with the title, "American Idol"...Kelly actually made a new name for herself and went pretty far. But I don't care for her music much lol.
I don't have a favorite season, really. They all play out the same one way or another.
It's amazing what some people will do just to get their face on TV...even if it is just the auditions. I can tell you right now, most of those people now don't give a crap about being an American Idol. They know they can't sing. They just want a spot on TV. lol.
