I was a huge fan at one time and was getting EVERY album they put out. Sadly, I was never able to get the album when they were called Graduate.

But I did name one of my cats at one time after the lead singer, Roland.

I just found a fatal flaw with DVR'ing this show. While it's fun to FF all the commercials, it CUT OFF THE LAST PERFORMER. my beloved Adam! Singing a TEARS FOR FEARS SONG! I am not happy. Does anyone know where I can watch it online? Rickey's page isn't working.

I haven't been reading the thread because i'm behind on watching the show (DVR), but had to jump on and say:

1. Simon's baby picture ruled.

2. I cannot listen to Matt sing "Part Time Lover" without longing for the good ol' days when Kevin Covais sang it. You're welcome.

That was cruel and unusual... not to mention PAINFUL!!!!

I hope that's the way it happens. I feel like I am watching a young super star or something. He is unlike anyone I have ever seen on the show. You can tell a good singer when they can sing anything and make it sounds great. I think he does that.

I have top confess that this is the first show I've watched this season. But, just from tonight:

Lil
Scott

Really like the others. Adam would be my first pick and then Matt, probably. DD thinks Kris is gorgeous, but loved Adam's voice more. Alison was good, she doesn't sound like a teenager at all.

oh my gosh, Adam is amazing! I didn't even know that song but he has an awesome voice. Why are they so excited about Matt? He stinks! I'm voting for Adam and Allison.

I love how they give him the pimp spot week after week now. (not) If they were doing that to Kris or Danny (especially Danny) there would major outrage here.

I don't think they've given someone that spot so many times before. But I looovveeeee me some Adam so I'm fine with it

Just Youtube the video, I'm sure there'll be a few versions up there later tonight, before 19 Entertainment pulls them all down. I was watching it live but also had it set to tape, and I knew Fox would screw people over. They keep people on the channel longer by going over by so much, but anyone who Tivo'd it lost the whole end of the show!

Minnie, those are my top two choices. Allison and Adam, then Adam for the win. IMO, nobody else on that show comes close to their talent.

Kris: Underwhelmed
Lil: Overwrought
Alison: Likeable
Anoop : Forgettable
Scott: Mundane

Adam: Refreshing

I love Tears for Fears so its very good that he did something that wasn't overplayed like Shout or Everybody wants to rule the world.

I think I even called that someone should sing Tears for Fears way back when I did the 80's songs list in the beginning of the week -- last week.

I can't believe that Danny sang an old fashioned country singers song. I had never even heard of Mickey Gilley. If the 50+ crowd knew it (I'm saying 50+ because my DH is 40+ and hadnt heard of him), Danny is looking after a different demographic--the non voting ones.


Anoop was apologetic. Sweet but unecessary. He is unflalingly polite. I actually think the Excuse Me was misconstrued... I used to nanny for an couple who just recently moved to the United States from India. If this couple didn't hear or understand something they said "Excuse Me" as more of a "I don't understand" phrase than a rude "Well, excuse me" phrase.

Not really, I've been sick so much lately and everything besides my last concert was Mid March.

I've got three or four lined up in the next week or so.



I'm getting through concert withdrawls with cds. I think the only month without a concert for me right now is July.
