I think Danny's actions might be misconstrued. I think he's more sarcastic then self-centered or narcissistic. At least that's my take on it.



Nathaniel won me over with that hilarious reaction to Tatiana getting through. Seriously, I had to watch that over and over b/c I found it so freaking awesome! Um...yeah, I need to get out more. Otherwise, he was pretty obnoxious.

OK, just curious as to why you think Danny is so self-sentered...I guess I'm just biased though.

When the judges praise him he nods his head and claps. When Ryan speaks to him after his performances he talks about how great a job he just did . When he speaks on the couch it is all about what he did and wants people to talk about and imitate him (remember asking Allison to imitate him). When he did the duet with Kris he totally upstaged him during Kris' parts and forgot the words twice, started improvising on the harmonies and then gave that silly grin at the end when Simon said he was better. He upstaged Slash during their performance. He ignored the advice of the mentors several times. He doubted that the judges knew what they were talking about when they said his performance wasn't that great. He actually thought he could pull off the high notes at the end of his rock song. etc. etc. etc.

Any word on Adam's song choice from the judges?

I am hearing Wicked Game by Chris Isaak but that hasn't been confirmed. I am also hearing a rumblings about U2. It sounds like perhaps he is being given a choice between two. Not sure why he hasn't said, since he did receive the text but perhaps if he has to decide between two he hasn't decided yet. Maybe he thinks he isn't allowed to tell. The person who was there when he read out the texts said he was most excited about "the one with wicked in the title".

I was hoping for an Elvis song for Adam...not that I am a huge Elvis fan..but I think he would be great...and maybe bring in a different crowd of fans...not that i don't think he will win hands down..but every vote helps..

season 3: I already said Fantasia, but add Diana DeGarmo to the list Jon Peter Lewis and Leah Labelle to it..this was the worst season ever for talent.

season 4: Again I already said Constantine but add that Mikalah Gordon to it, she was awful!

season 5: Bucky annoyed me and so did Paris Bennett (princess P..give me a break)

season 6: Blake Lewis (beat box and changing up Bon Jovi??), Haley Scarnato of short skirt fame, Melinda Doolittle and of course Sanjaya.

season 7: the only ones that really bothered me was Kristy Lee Cook and Amanda Overmyer and can't forget Danny (oh no you didn't) Noriega

this year: giggle and bikini girls, nick/norm, Megan and Lil. Adam believe i or not does not annoy me..I can tolerate him.

Adam had a girl at his high school homecoming thingy take off her shirt and rush the stage. Looks like he thought it was pretty funny. There are pictures but I guess I shouldn't post them here. She had a pretty turquoise bra. lol.

To make the big bucks, you need to be able to perform and sell out arenas by putting on a great show. I cannot see Danny selling out any arenas. He's not going to be able to make his label any money and will get dropped very quickly. Adam on the other hand, knows how to entertain. His concerts are going to be fantastic and his label will be loving him!

Sure, Adam puts on a show... But it has NEVER, imho, crossed the line into 'theatrical' ( as in Broadway ) in a negative way.

Somebody even used the word 'dance'... and I have not seen Adam so much as tap his foot to the music.... He is ALL about the vocal performance. 100%

The judges have been all over other contestants for being broadway-theatrical... and they have been sent packing.... I think that Simon Cowell has it right.... the only time this has been mentioned was that one comment by Randy, and Simon just grinned and rolled his eyes...
He said, "Of course... but that is like complaining that a cow goes Moooooo.... It is just who he is". Like I just said, the dude is majorly talented and photogenic... That is just the reality... Like I just said... What should he do???? Tone down his vocal talent, shave his head, wear old jeans and t-shirts.

Sure, with Adam, they have brought out some awesome backlighting, facial closeups, etc... But, NO, that does not make him 'theatrical' or 'broadway' in a negative way.

And let's get real, a major 'goth' or 'alternative' rock-pop tour IS a show... If one can't put on a show, then they ain't gonna make it for long in the business.

Always agree with damo and will add that Danny looks annoyed and slightly shocked if he ever gets any criticism from the judges because he's totally bought into the hype that he's destined for final 2. The fact that he thinks it's hilarious to butcher a song and subject listeners to that soul shattering shriek tells me has little respect for his craft. It's all just a joke for him. NOTHING would make me happier next week than to see him lose that spot to Kris.

In Adam's radio interview this morning Jeff and Jer mention that after years in show biz they know a phony when they see one and Adam is genuinely humble and sweet.

And guess what? Adam will be performing for the troops tonight at the Marine Corps. Air Station in Miramar. NO AI finalists homecoming has ever included a visit to a military base. You won't see good 'ol good Chrisitian boy Danny doing that.

I wouldn't have picked either one of those songs for Adam, but I think he could probably do a great version of Wicked Game. I have a real hard time imagining Adam with U2, but didn't Mary J Blige do a version of it, or was it a different song with the same title?
