Wonder if he thinks he can get with going on his father's laurels and that's making him act conceited and full of it... I'm S0-AND-SO'S SON, LOOK AT ME!!! Rather than just doing it all on his own....

i actually KNOW someone like that.

her father is the coolest person in the world, but she thinks that her poo doesn't stink. and unfortunatly we are family(both married, luckily not blood related!! lol) and i have to see her all the time...drives me nuts! i'd LOVE to slap her upside the head with something...

I don't think he seems all that bad, either. I mean, it's so hard to know what these guys are like in real life. I've known tons of people who appeared to be great on the surface, but turned out to be real buttholes once you got to know them. So, who knows?

I've run into the occasional actor who was a bonafide jerkwad. Adam West comes to mind. Enjoyed the Batman tv show but he's a buttwad. A friend of mine could tell stories about more butthead actors/actresses he's dealt with over the years.

Well, it's not like I'm hanging out with Sting or anything. But I do know some very successful touring musicians. And I used to hang out with some bigger bands from Raleigh when Punk and Metal were more in fashion. And I've known a bunch that were, and a bunch that weren't. I don't think you have to be a jerk and conceited to make it big.

No you don't... but some didn't get that memo.

not all of them. a lot of them are, but not all of them. but for someone who didn't even come close to winning a singing competition that he was in, he's a bit too full of himself for my tastes....

Honestly, NOT winning was the best thing that could've happened to him. Same for Adam. They simply needed the springboard, that's it. (Seriously, I'm really not a big Daughtry fan!)

Not something that was making me pay attention to the show moreso than typing comments here....

Haven't been to church in a while... usually have to work. Last time I was off, I skipped because I didn't want to risk being near my friend when he mentioned on his LJ about having norovirus...
