Poor David Archuleta and Syesha Mercado... they have just been completely out-classed. Cook is an incredible musical artist.

I think it will come down to the two Davids in the finals. I think the judges were pretty much setting it up that way tonight, telling Syesha she didn't do good, etc. David C should be the winner by far, awesome job tonight!!

David A's first song was pretty good, the last two were bad. The last one made me want to [insert puking smiley]

Sayesha's first song and last songs were great. I agreed with the judges on the second one.

All three of David Cook's were good. The first one was great, the second one just needed more time to build and the last one Incredible. That was the song DH and I danced to at our wedding (GREAT wedding song by the way, the lyrics are perfect) and this version was different from but just as great as the Aerosmith version. Go David

I thought the judges were to hard on Sayesha, she didn't have any choices on the song last night, they kept telling her those weren't the right song choices for her well she didn't pick

I agree, they were way too hard on Syesha, I thought she did a wonderful job, they didn't need to tell her she wasn't going to make the top two. Why didn't they just say "we want an all David top 2, so we're not going to count votes you can leave now".

The judges (well, at least Randy and Simon) tend to say what they believe. And they (including Paula, this time) clearly believed that Syesha was not stacking up well against the two Davids. And I agree with them. It wasn't necessarily a matter of what they wanted, but rather a matter of the reality.

David Cook is amazing to me. I still do not want him to win because I want to see him have complete freedom after this summer tour. Honestly, I think he is a genius when it comes to music.

Question about the presale today....We have never used a presale code to get tickets. Are the seats worse then when they would go on sale Sat? Last time we went, the year Chris Daughtry won we were second row from the top of the stadium!! But we bought them on regular sale day. Hoping to do better this time!

David Cook is far and away the most talented performer and musician. Syesha is good in a cabaret, musical theatre kind of way...but not a pop idol. David A is so Mickey Mouse Club to me I just can't take it! Maybe if they were casting for High School Musical 17, or whatever, but not AI. I do want DC to win it all, even though he won't be completely "free", look what he has done with the songs he has been given! Imagine him with all of the tools and production help he needs! He could be the most successful Idol winner ever, IMO.

And, for the record, I've loved him since the auditions, that hardly ever happens!

They put a certain number aside for the presale. From my experience they sell some good and some bad seats just like the general sale. If you don't like what is offered at the presale you can always not buy and wait til Saturday to see if you can get better but I usually do pretty good with the presale.

I am happy with the seats I got for the Charlotte show. (thanks puffkin for the help with the presale). I am taking DD13 as a surprise before school starts back- Charlotte show is Aug 17. We are lower level row K which is very near the stage. I didn't want floor seats because I am kind of short.
