American Idol Season 9

Actually, I wanna ride space mountain this trip forrealz. It was being refurbed when I went last year, and it was one of my goals for that trip too, so that makes it 13 years since I've rode it. YEARS! I hardly remember the warp tunnels you go through at the beginning and end.

I'm waaaaaaaay overdue for that ride.


Although....that's been 13 years....unlucky number alert!

Holy crap, 13 YEARS?!? You definitely need to ride it this trip. Although I have to say, I was totally underwhelmed by the refurb. Other than closing in the queue and adding that game I don't see much of a difference. Oh, and they take a ride photo now...in the most random place ever!!

And, depending on who wins you may not want to see them at DHS...or anywhere for that matter.

true....I'll just watch Space Mountain videos on youtube and listen to the vintage warping music that plays during the ride on my iPod, trying to remember what it was like to ride that coaster in the dark and all. I'd rather ride the teacups all day.

Although, 13 is not a number to mess with. With that luck, the teacup I ride will detach, spin off the platform, spin across the park and crash into the parade as it passes by, clipping Mickey and Goofy in the front as I roll into the Barber Shop, ram into the barber himself, and have a chunk of my hair shaved off from the shaver as a container of pixie sparkly dust lands on my head with the hair-paint in my face and a photopass photographer takes a pic of the whole debacle and starts a new service where they charge you on the spot, costing me $200 for "Special Event" charges.

Or I could just ride the coaster, hope I don't die, and dance a jig when I survive....and fall on the ground as a result.

Yep, that long. I was planning on riding it last year, but right before we left for the trip, I found out it was being refurbed, and I couldn't ride it. Needless to say, I felt like I was getting some childhood memories taken away when that happened, but no biggie. I think the only reason why it took so long was because they had to replace the track. Also I heard they changed the warping music in the tunnel at the beginning...*sigh*....better not be TOO different!

and as for who wins, there's only 2 people I'd be excited to see in person....pretty obvious who that'd be, right?

PS: I'm actually eating some of it right now. I saw it in the store the other day and I freaked, so I got it. Again, childhood memories.

I'm still amazed that they supposedly redid the track. It still shakes the crap out you!! Don't get me wrong, I love Space but man...it was rough!! I didn't even notice the tunnel music -- usually b/c I'm too busy saying (in a stupid, Hoosier-type twang) "Here we go!" It drives DH crazy but for some reason, I find it hilarious.

And yeah...you're super pumped to see Big Mike and Aaron -- right?

Oh, the shaking isn't a problem....as long as it doesn't cause whiplash, I'm just fine! If you wanna talk about whiplash, try RnRC with my mom. I had to warn her 3 times when we were about to launch that she'd better put her head back all the way. She was like "WHY? The launch doesn't look THAT fast!"....two seconds later *FOOOOOM* "AHHHHHHHHH!! OMG STEPH WHAT KINDA RIDE IS THIS?!?!!" and I laughed the whole time.

Kris Allen was in DHS when I went last May. My sister and her BF went to DHS, but I didn't give a shiz about him so I went to Animal Kingdom that day with DH.

I told DH he was kinda lucky that Adam didn't win. Otherwise my mom and I would have been camping out all morning and he would have been forced to go to see him HAHA.

I haven't been on space mountain in several years, i have a hard time getting in and out of it.

I never go because I still have fears from when I was a kid and it didn't have seatbelts. You just hung on for dear life. Plus, I don't really like roller coasters, I'm more a spinny tea cup type of gal.

And Robin, those two guys can never be wrong.
