I agree. This season is way better than last.

last season was just so boring, it was hard to keep up with it. this season it seems like we have a much wider range of contestants, i hope it goes well!

I thought I would join in on the fun of this thread since I know I will be suckered into watching every episode..as I do every season

So far I am really enjoying Ellen on the show..I have to say I don't even miss Paula a bit! Even Kara is growing on me somewhat...

For talent, so far I like Casey James, "Mamasox", Andrew Garcia and Hailey V..I am really looking forward to seeing what everyone can do! This is hopefully going to be a better season than last, although I did enjoy Mr. Lambert, I thought last year was a snoozefest....

i like Ellen, but i still have a bit of an issue with her being there ONLY because she doesn't have anything to do with the music industry. but i have to admit, she's doing much better than i thought she would. i saw when she was a guest judge on SYTYCD and i hated it, she didn't critique anyone, but at least on here she is.

Kara....i can't stand her. she could fall off the face of the earth and i'd throw a party....she just grates my nerves. just looking at her irritates me lol

I'm soooo with you with Kara. I dvr the show so I don't have to listen to a word she says. I'd rather hear Randy say "dawg dude" all day than to hear her ramble on... she makes me sick... She makes Ellen look REAL GOOD!

Finally getting caught up on this week's Idol...haven't watched all of the final judgement yet though. Finally starting to see some people who I like: Ashley, Lee, Katie, and yes, even Aaron (but that's no surprise seeing as I liked David Archuleta too...). Can't wait for this week's performances.

I don't have any favorites yet. It's too early, haven't seen them do enough. Heck, I can't even remember their names yet.

i was bored to tears with last year. i hardly watched it.

heh....i tend to like singing more than screaming...so Lambert wasn't my cup of tea. plus he comes off as a bit rude...

It's just a play on her name, Bowersox. They've been playing up the momma rocker background so much, that's why randy calls her Mommasox.
