The "beggar guy" was kinda pathetic in his performance, not to mention whining for another chance....

I think someone else already mentioned this, but when I first saw him, I thought it was Andrew Garcia, who is my early favorite, for a second. But I'm thinking that Garcia had his head screwed on the right way too much to grovel like that (and to be so bad). I was glad that I found out I got them confused.
That was me. I'm glad I wasn't the only one that got them confused
Looking forward to the live show starting up in a couple of weeks. I think Ellen was a great replacement and will offer a lot to the show. If Simon really does leave next year, I think it's going to be really tough to replace him. I keep hoping that this is all a ploy for money, I guess we'll see.
I can't stand her, I'm so hoping she gets cut soon!! I don't want her making top 24. I don't like her voice, or her witchy attitude towards everyone. Go home!!
I felt so sorry for Lynch (Big Mike) listening on the phone to his wife being in labor, knowing he gets to the top 24 only to be kicked off because his stupid father couldn't keep his mouth shut. So sad that he had to miss being there for the birth of his child.![]()
I'm going to apologize now if spoilers are not as often this season, I'm getting slammed every week with at least 6 paper if not more plus all my other classes.
That's ok.
And: papers are evil. I think they make students do them for busywork.
Yes they are. It's just for one class, darn Upper Division Lit.

American Idol will announce some of its Top 24 semifinalists during a two-hour episode Tuesday (FOX, 8 p.m. Eastern/7 p.m. Central). The Tuesday announcements mark a change from the way the Top 24 has been revealed during past seasons.
After last week's shows, the field of contestants had narrowed to 71. And on Tuesday, some of those contestants will perform their final solo number in front of the four judges, in hopes of singing their way into the Top 24

Interesting....I wonder if they are worried about ratings with the Olympics? With most of the events being shown live this year (which I LOVE) I am kind of on a break from all my other shows. The DVR is going crazy, but those shows will just have to wait until after the games. I wasn't GASP planning on watching Idol this week since I already peeked at the Top 24. I'm sure I am not the only one.
