Not to dismiss anyone with cancer, it is a terrible disease and two of my grandparents died of it. But just because you have had cancer does not mean you are automatically better or deserve a spot.

Yep, ITA!! My dad passed away of cancer, and it ticks me off when people play the cancer card or exploit some other adversity in their life. It just rubs me the wrong way.
