I have to say, I am going to miss Casey. He grew onto me towards the end of the season.

i mean, we've been saying on this thread since at least the top 10 that Lee and Crystal were going to be the final 2......

I am not totally surprised but was glad America did not fall for his good looks over singing talent. it has happened before.

well, it never happened when it got close to the finale tho. talent has usually won over looks, when it comes down to it in the end. i mean....just look at the final two THIS season.....

LOL I only did that because during Casey's song, they cut to a TD Bank commercial, and then like 10 seconds later they cut back, as if saying "OH CRAP! WE INTERRUPTED CASEY!....I guess we have to turn it back. People might complain."

Luckyyyyyy. Because of my vacation, they scheduled me to work Wednesday AND Thursday. The day of the finale and the day afterwards.

Meh they're only 4 hour days. It's not that bad.

The performance show will most likely be an hour. Then the actual FINALE will probably be 2. Gotta spread that result out, ya know!

I will admit I am sad to see Casey go. I really liked his sound. When he comes out with an album I will definitely buy it.

I just fast fowarded thru the results show. Casey was no surprise but I am surprised at how emotional I got during Lee's homecoming segment! He seems to be such a nice guy. I might just be voting next week for the first time this season.

and i don't know how you can consider that a "prequel" when Robin Hood, in that movie, is already in his 40's! there's no way! back in the time when that whole myth was centered around, people barely even lived to BE 40, let alone becoming an outlaw and living in a forrest at 40.

Ha! This is the way my mind works too. I'm thinking...in real life he would have been dead from the plaque or something by that age!

Me too! Maybe because I'm from the Chicago area as well and recognized a lot of the places. Or maybe it's because DD is a LD/BD teacher and I hope that maybe someday she will make an impact on a student like Lee's teachers did for him.

Anyone catch Big Mike looking at his watch at the end of the show? For him, it was probably the longest hour in his life. Sitting in the audience instead of being on stage.

I did notice that. He was probabaly sitting there thinking "This was they Guy that beat me out for a top 3 spot? If I had stayed I would be in the top two. Save me again Judges"
