are you talking about the new Robin Hood movie?? yeah i could have told you that no one was going to bother with that. Russell Crowe is entirely too old to be playing Robin Hood, and it looks more like Gladiator in the Woods or something.

A friend saw it but I haven't seen his review.... He's dealing with the possible loss of one of his dogs. I was pondering it; might make it matinee... Perhaps a double-feature with Shrek Forever (not sure if I'll splurge for 3D...)

Not saying it's a bad movie. It looks intriguing... mainly with all the effects and he does look good in it...

Some thought that Robin Hood would be a blockbuster but it wasn't... Not when theaters give it, a new release, HALF the screens that Iron Man 2 has.

Now.... Iron Man was AWESOME!!!!!

Iron Man 2 was pretty good, had lots of action

Robin Hood was just like Gladiator; I am so glad I saw it for free.

i heard that they don't even do the typical "steal from the rich, give to the poor" thing in that movie. how the hell is it a Robin Hood movie when you don't even put that aspect into it???

He might get the Aaron Carter treatment when his voice changes. Cute at first, but then got old. Literally and figuratively.

Orrrrrrr he might get a better voice when he matures and turn out to be a stud muffin.

I SWEAR that Russell wears the SAME HAIRSTYLE FOR EVERY FREAKING MOVIE HE DOES......

And they deviated away from the basic Robin Hood story that we're all familiar with; made it more a "prequel" of sorts. That may have hurt it by making it less familiar and futzing up a good story. Did we [Americans] learn not to futz up another country's legend back when we did Godzilla???????

and i don't know how you can consider that a "prequel" when Robin Hood, in that movie, is already in his 40's! there's no way! back in the time when that whole myth was centered around, people barely even lived to BE 40, let alone becoming an outlaw and living in a forrest at 40.
