I was just talking with my sister about the tour this year and how I wonder if anybody's actually going to go. We've gone every year since season 3 (except season 7 when they didn't even come here which we were SO mad about...atleast we did get to see David Cook when he came here) but I doubt we'll go this year. The only 2 I'd like to see are Lee and Aaron. We did want to go early to see if we could meet them but they changed the venue this year and don't know if they'll even be able to do that.

Some people WILL go... like those people who yell in the audience every time they mention Lee's name... It's like going ballistic for the FedEx guy ! Sorry, will someone PLEASE tell me what is the appeal of that guy???? Or is it because there is NO ONE ELSE to scream for?

Can I just say..way to make sure Casey goes home and that Lee and Crystal are the final 2. I can't see Casey singing this song at all! It just doesn't seem to fit his voice or style at all.

I have to agree with you. I am not a fan of John Mayer at all and his style does not fit Casey. I hope Casey can rock it out and amaze the judges but it seems he doesn't do well with different styles as evidenced by Sinatra week.

But I am hoping he can find the confidence to step out of his comfort zone somewhat and surprise us all.

Lee has a bright future ahead of him in commericals. He'll get to do all the laxative adds. He's got the constipated look down!

I actually like Lee's singing. I like the raspy sounding voices in male singers. I don't give a flying fig what someone looks like or how much "performing" they do on stage. I just like to listen to someone sing...don't need to see weird facial expressions and over the top theatrics.

I DO give a flying fig...

I cannot stand being seranaded, I want to be entertained. I guess it's the theatre side of me. Stage presence matters to me, I was trained in it and I expect it from someone performing for me.

That's what makes the world go round though, to each his own. I really don't mind Lee's voice, I just think it's too familiar. At least he doesn't make me sick like some previous AI'ers have.

However, for some reason, I have been having the opposite thought about him. To me he looks like he's thinking: "OH NO!!!! I just pooped my pants!!!!Think anybody notices??"
