American Idol Season 9 Thread Top 5

....I didn't get to watch the show last night, so I DVR'd it....



.....so, I had about 12 minutes to kill this morning before leaving for school - I watched the 'short' version:

Mike - okay, THERE, I said it, I came outta the closet - I'm a 'secret Big Mike Fan'....whew, I feel better now...

Okay, we are NO LONGER twins!!!

I think that last night was the worst American Idol show ever. It was just horrible. Harry Connick Jr. was a good mentor and he seemed to give the contestants good, in depth advice. But all of the performances stunk up the place. Lee might have been better than the others but he was still wasn't very good. Crystal was bad. Aaron and Casey were even worse. And Mike has reached new levels of bad. His voice just grates on my ever last nerve. It has reached the point where I think I'm going to have to turn the sound off when Mike comes on. I don't want to hear him ever again.

I am sorry to be so negative but, with all of this horrendous flooding that we in Nashville are dealing with, I didn't need last nights AI garbage on top of it.

I wish Mike would have gone weeks ago when he should have. He's too annoying to me. So is his wife.

I was on the website getting ready to buy my Adam Lambert tickets when I remembered the reason I wouldn't have my kids that weekend. I'm having SURGERY the week before.

I can't go.

Thanks. It's the "usual". I have ANOTHER hernia. This makes 8! This one isn't an emergency like the one I had during Season 7 (remember that?). That one almost killed me. This time my surgeon is letting me go on vacation before the surgery. I just have to be REALLY careful. Hopefully I wont visit Mickey's Hospital.

Feel better. My Dad had issues with hernias also, which is why I was the one who had to pick up all the heavy things and push all the furniture... all 4feet ten of me!!

...yeah - I'm sooo done with him....I, for one, did NOT care that he took off his shirt - personally, he was too scrawny for my taste...

Oooh, I'm just the opposite. I didn't think he was scrawny at all. And I when he wears his hair down, hate the ponytail, it does nothing for him. And I love those gorgeous blue eyes and that smile....*sigh* Thankfully my DH is not the jealous type, and doesn't mind my drooling when Casey is singing, or on camera getting his feedback from the judges. I'm going to miss seeing him.

i tend to go for scrawnier guys, but i like them to be kind of lean...Casey has no definition anywhere, his body looks like a boys body, so to me i'm like "keep your shirt on, you look fine that way" lol

Last night had to be the worst night EVER for any season final 5. NO ONE was great, or even good for that matter. I think Harry was excellent with them. I loved how he picked out that note for Aaron and showed him how it sounding. I vote for him to be all time mentor Maybe HE can replace Simon next season, if there is a next season?

It's sad to think that at this exact moment just two seasons ago, I was full of adrenaline, getting ready for the show and freaking out, hoping David Cook wouldn't be voted off. I was always jittery starting about an hour from the show.

Just now, I woke up from an unexpected nap....and I'm still tired.

Eesh, we REALLY need to get the DISettes together, start this band up! That'll wake me up!
