I of course turned on just as Jamie was finishing up her story - can anyone recap what she said please?
She had an OK voice but I liked her personality. Not quite as annoying to me as Pickler
I LOVED Chris Sligh! I'm so glad he had a unique & lovely voice to back up his very funny persona

She lives with her grandmother and her dad who is paralzed from about the mid shoulder down. Randy kind of stammered "how" and she told him. Daddy found Step Mama in bed with someone else and shot Step Mama and himself. No clue what happened to Step Mama.

I had high hopes for The Big B and for the most part these auditions lived up to the hype.

We started off with Erica who made my teeth hurt but thankfully things improved. Katie, the girl with the speaking voice of a 3 year old must have a different set of vocal cords for singing.

Tatianna put together a soulful and sexy version of Loved A Man and I've got her on my Ones To Watch list.

Diana and Margaret (both strange dressers) were the comedy relief for the night.

There was a guy named Bernard who sang Rock With You who was pretty good and then the soap opera girl with the dysfunctional family. She had a great voice when she wasn't screaming.

Victoria, the hair queen, really wasn't all that bad but, I suppose, wasn't all that good either and Brandy, the last one of the night, had me hitting the mute button.

Then there was Chris. For the first time this season I got goosebumps. Image wise he needs help but that voice is amazing. He also gave the best line of the night when he told the judges he wanted to make David Hasselhoff cry.

Pretty good night. Once we get through this evening, I believe they said Hollywood eliminations would start next week. Cool!

I think that is the first time I have seen Simon actually enjoy himself with a bad contestant. It was hilarious when he kept telling her to "call me".

Looks like he had some fun with a contestant on tonights episode as well.


Wonder if he was in a good mood that Paula wasn't around.

Yes!! She couldn't sit still. She had to stand, kneel, wiggle or hold on to Randy's arm. She was definitely on something! I bet that is why she wasn't on day 2. They made a nice cover story for her going to LA for a family occasion, but I doubt that.......seriously. She was on something.
I found it strange that she said the "Rock With You Guy" was all over the page in pitch. I thought he did a good job. He may not have been the best, but I didn't think his pitch was all over the page. Simon and Randy didn't think so either.

He was our favorite last night! He was funny and a great singer!
I will enjoy watching him.
