I never thought Carrie had the "it" factor. Maybe the "it" factor is in the eye of the beholder.

I like Kellie as well, but this "Country Mouse visits the City Mouse" storyline is getting old!!

I agree that it's getting old. I'm tired of hearing about Kelly's supposed hick life.

Here's my take on Paris' confidence:
I don't think she's overly confident at all. I think Paris is everything that poor Brenna wishes she was. You almost feel bad for Brenna cause you know that deep down she probably has very low self confidence and is just putting on this facade to protect herself. On the other hand, Paris is what she is. She knows she's got "it" and that's just who she is.

Just jumping in here for a second. This is the first season I have even tuned in to AI, and I have to admit, it was only to see how our local, Kellie Pickler, progressed. Yes, we are a small town, but we do wear shoes, brush our teeth, and some of us even know which fork to use at real restaurants! ("Kaal a marrie" is an appetizer, right?)

Don't judge Kellie from the snip-its you are seeing. She is as sincere, likeable, and down to Earth as you will find. Yes, what you have heard about her childhood is in fact truth. But remember, we are only seeing bits and pieces that have been "cut & pasted" from these interviews. The producers are putting together the picture they want presented - not necessarily the way the contestants themselves want to be presented.

Remember the episodes of the Disney Weddings Special and the Ultimate Fans Guide to WDW last year? Our own DISers were presented in the same way.

Now, excuse me while I go fix some grits... :thumbsup2

My only comment--when will they learn. Last Dance is a DS classic and is not meant to impress people enough to vote for you. EVER!!!!!

Remove it from the line up and save it for a group number for fun on 70s night. Quit torturing my song!

absolutely--and surprising--my hubby who keeps up with country music--said her song is still on top of the charts and she has the record (I think longest running debut song or maybe album or maybe both).

So for those who thought she didn't have "it"---I think "it" found her and "it" has helped her succeed.

"It" factor--does not necessarily determine the winner and the producers of AI winner albums seem to have done a decent job with formatting the album to the talent they are using. I think that is pretty cool.

Okay, about an hour left til the guys sing so lets kill some time. Fast forward in your mind to the finale - who are the 2 contestants you would like to see going head to head the most at this point?

For me it would probably be Taylor and Chris or maybe Taylor and Ace

Chris and Ace.

Brenna and David!!!!!!!!

Nah, I say any combination of Ace, Chris, and Mandisa.

oh, gawd...
Is the audio/visual off on everyone or is it just us???

It's REALLY hard to watch people talk/sing when the songs are about 2 seconds 'OFF'..... :crazy2:

But I think it will be Ace and Kelly.

Oh Taylor Taylor Taylor!!!!!!!

DD is watching now--we watched this morning on TIVO together and she kept wanted to call in at the end of the show---I had to explain several times that voting was over. She has pencil and paper tonight. NOt sure she gets it though--I think she plans on voting for everybody. :rotfl2:

He could sing from Webster's or Roget's and I still think I would love it.

This guy right now sucks if you ask me! I don't think it sounded good at all. I don't know his name but he was the one who was talking about "beanies."
