aw, i thought deborah dawn was interesting. disappointed she didn't get through. i liked jayne (sang anita baker's 'sweet love') until she copped an attitude with simon for not loving her. i hate when they do that! i get embarrassed for them totally cringeworthy.

Simon was awfully grumpy but it seemed like Randy wouldn't get off his back either. They both annoyed me tonight.

So far, Paula has seemed the most sedate. I wonder how long that will last?

I am posting late but regarding Tuesday nights show I was taken back by the girl that was in 42 foster homes and had three kids...she comes out of thoe audition, hugs her friends, hugs ryan then hugs her kids only when Ryan pushes them forward saying your kids are happy too...she hugs them and then turns to them and says "I'm leaving you" in a not so nice way...I would never ever vote for her just based on that! I don't care how she sings, it was a terrible thing to see!

Not much to say on last night's show. What was with Simon? PMS??

I really liked the 16 yo girl with the braids. Cute as a button and she had a great voice. Also liked the guy who did the remix and the opera singer but the judges said no to her.

Hopefully Simon will go back on his medication for next weeks shows.

What's up with the celeb. judges this year? Are they going back to using them in the final weeks or are they just "bagging" them alltogether? Has anyone heard?

Instead of using them as judges, I wish they'd have them just work with the contestants, then have them sit as "honored guest". They can give some general commets at the very end.

I noticed that too! I felt bad for her kids. They were so excited and she only went to them as an afterthought. The way she said "I'm leaving you" was so cold, I thought.

OMG! I picked up that she was joking also. From the video clips, she seems to adore her children. Yes, she came out of that room and ran to the adults in her excitement, probably because those adults truly know what kind of opportunity this is for her. Yes, she was star-struck with Ryan. For ONE minute, her kids were in the background. They'll live.

I thought it was hysterical when she said "I am leaving you" We all have those days, don't we? She is a single mom, working, going to school and taking care of 3 kids. She is VERY young, so yes, I am sure she sees this as an all expense paid vacation from her hectic life as a single mom.

Yep bad night tonight. I am almost sorry I taped it and watched it when I got home from work.

Anyone else really hate the little "group" song they are doing every week? You know where they show all the contestants singing the same song...I really dislike that part.

That was a waste of an hour. I'm glad I had recorded it and only watched about 5 minutes of actual singing!!! I don't understand the need to show all these awful auditions. It really is just getting annoying.

Yep, a waste of an hour. Not much singing and the parts that were supposed to be funny just weren't. Although I did giggle at the "big butts" song. For reasons that have nothing to do with the show.

I thought the gondolier was pretty good. Better than some of the people they have been accepting.

I can't wait for the stupid auditions to be over with already.

I noticed she said no an awful lot last night....AND SIMON ended up being the deciding vote because Paula said no, and Randy said yes, and SIMON said YES???? WHOA....me thinks the producers are trying to "change things up".

The other thing I noticed, was it was just an "I'm sorry, I have to pass." or "It's a no for me" What happened to her 15 minute speel on their positive traits before she gives them the bad news?

Next week is Hollywood, correct? What happened to Foxboro, MA????? I know they held auditions there last August. Maybe they didn't get any "hopefuls" from MA?

one of the many stupid parts last night was the bit of showing a singer and then the penalty of their crime..........
ie: sentenced to 100 hours community service / sentenced to 6 months in jail for blah blah blah

that section got old rather quickly
