You guys are pretty funny. Other than a vibrato, I don't think Elliott and Elvis are at all similar. But...if you want to jump to that conclusion...go right ahead!!!

I don't think Taylor has any more "soul" than any of the other performers. His fans just think so.

That said, I am very much looking forward to the Elvis Impersonator night. I hope someone shows up in costume!!! I just hope that Chris does not wear the same outfit that JD Fortune wore when he sang Suspicious Minds. Maybe Kat will wear a tight white suit for the guys??? Maybe there will be another wardrobe malfunction but with Chris this time...

Hey I couldn't find the song spoilers in that link. I found some in another place. Is it true Elliot is supposed to sing "If I Can Dream?" Has anyone ever heard that before? It is an AMAZING song. If he can put his heart in it (like he hasn't yet done) it could be a great performance.

I think that Elliot could have problems with nerves. He seems to keep to himself and doesn't just really let it out IMO. Bashing aside, I still think that he has potential.

Did his Children's Hospital thing (he sings for the kids every Christmas and other times), has an album coming out with his original music, and sings some of it in the above link.

As much as I want to get behind him as his parents live in our sleepy little town, I just didn't care for his original stuff. He is a great guy with all his charity work, but....
However, Kathy Sabine (the reporter who interviewed him) did a nice little swoon after he sang to her. She said later on in the program that he is very, very charismatic in person.

Who he said he wants to win.....Elliot.

Although I'm a Kat fan all the way, I have always like Elliott. Actually, I like Taylor and Chris too. At this point I would not be dissapointed to see any of them win the whole thing. I am so curious to see who America will pick.

Now this is just my opinion, and I am not comparing any of the idols left to any famous singers! I think that Elliott has a very good voice. And I think that he does put his heart and soul into his performances. His is more of a ballad singer when it comes down to it. Unfortunately, he is being judged on his looks and nerves. Hey, they can't all look like Chris! And I think that Elliott has an overall better voice than Chris. If Chris doesn't watch it, he is going to push his voice too far and loose it all together. Elliott totally has more control of his voice.

Taylor is just a fun guy. He doesn't have the best voice, but he goes out and has fun. I think that people like him because he is unique, and different. He's definitely an entertainer!

I agree that Elliott has a tough time with nerves. I'm personally really tired of Ryan commenting on his sweating thing. Leave it alone already!

Almost every news report or poll I've seen the last couple of days has Elliott going home this week (and I've got to believe they have some idea of what's being said about them)

I'd love it if that was actually a bit freeing for him and he could lose the nerves and go out and really shine tonight!


I agree about Chris' voice too. I was hoping when Bocelli had him actually singing from his diaphragm, it might carry over, but doesn't seem like it did.
Don't get the whole Chris as hot thing - but I'm not a Vin Diesel kind of gal either, so not surprising really.


I WISH there was a really hot guy still in it.


I like Kat - but think we'll end up with a guy as the winner this year. That's what the powers that be at AI have wanted from the begining.
