I've gone the past 2 years with my sisters, and it's been so much fun!!

I see that the AI tour is coming near me-the Allstate Arena in Illinois in August.
I really want to go (so I can be in the same room as Chris) and would love to take my daughters.
Do you think it would be a good first concert for them-ages 8 and 12?
I figure it will be pretty tame and that is what I want for their first concert experience.

I'd say it would be a perfect concert for a 1st concert.

I wanted to take DS(10) who likes Chris but I guess I won't now that they are coming no where near Texas - that's just wrong!! Last year they played in Grand Prairie and San Antonio and Oklahoma City...............

My favorite from last night was Chris. I liked him from the beginning and I will stick by him until the end. I think Kelli will be the one going home tonight. I also thought Katherine sang very well.

Much better picture of him. I have to admit when I first saw the other picture I wasn't sure if he was a male or a female (kind of like Pat from SNL).

Thank you so much! Now that I've listened, I agree with most of the consensus... Chris, Elliott & then Taylor did best IMHO.....

I thought Kat was great....she is steady climbing into my top 2...possibly knocking out Chris....Taylor still tops for me....Kellie is 3rd or 4th...Elliott sucks...I cant stand to look or listen to him...Paris is forgettable.....I think Paris goes home....Kellie has a large fan base and will still make top 3 I think...which I wont agree with but I still like her and think she is darn cute....GO HOME ELLIOTT

You may not think Elliott looks great and he may not be polish, but to say he sucks? That's just ignorant IMHO. He has a great voice, and doesn't deserve to go home.

The fact that Kellie is still around and will outlast people like Sway and Mandisa by so much is an outright travesty.

Performances last night rated 1-6.

1. Elliott - His 2nd best performance of the year, he is fighting like hell to stay on board in the face of haters.
2. Chris - His best performance in weeks, he finally didn't bore me.
3. Paris - Good, nothing special at all, but she definitely is 100X better than Kellie.
4. Taylor - He's my 2nd favorite, but I have to say that this was his worst performance in quite some time.
5. Katharine - She finally went uptempo, but she failed in a pretty major way. She needs to stay uptempo though because she is incredibly boring just standing behind the mic and trying to serenade voters. She's by far the hottest female in the competition, but that means absolutely nothing to me as far as my vote goes.
6. Kellie - Please stop the act, PLEASE! You are HORRIBLE two weeks in a row, and you will still make the Top 5? What a joke. Get off my tv you no talent hack.

YES!! I think she sounds horrible! The only time I thought she sounded good was her original audition for Randy, Paula and Simon and they sent her to Hollywood. I really thought she would be the one to watch...but it seems she gets worse every week. I'm no music pro...but sounds to me like she is always trying to sing too low.

It would be fine. I went to Hartford last year, and there were tons of kids. I saw more families there than at any other concert that I have attended.

I just rewatched the show from last night and I have to comment on Katharine McPhee's dress. (I should first tell you that I am a fan of Taylor and Chris and my comments are not impartial.) I think the whole dress malfunction was done on purpose.

1) She appears to give the dress a light tug on her left thigh to "help" it pop a few buttons.

2) If any buttons were going to pop on that dress, I think the ones at the top would definitely have gone first. It was so tight that her breast looked like they were half exposed anyway.

3) I think it is strange that you would just happen to have on yellow panties in that exact shade unless you were planning on exposing yourself.

I know this shouldn't matter if we were only judging them on tallent, but some of you have been so hard on Kellie Pickler being fake and succeeding on other than her singing ability that I think it is fair to examine the other contestants tactics. It is sad that a woman thinks that she can't succeed without resorting to risque behavior.

Very true. I am usually touched by the shots of her dad watching with his eyes welling up with pride, but I thought last nights tears were probably from thinking about what his daughter looked like up there!

I don't think I'd ever heard that Donny Hathaway song--nor do I think I've ever heard of him...but I LOVE Elliott. He can sing to me ANY DAY.

I think Chris is going to win. I thought it was interesting how Boccelli (sp?) and his producer didn't seem to have quite the same faith in him.

Kelli...oh Kelli. I've been waiting patiently for her to look like a performer and not a deer in the headlights when she sings. She seems to have no faith in her singing ability, but she has a fabulous set of pipes. I think she needs to have her own sitcom. Forget Idol.

Taylor will record music and become famous...and the babes will be all over him!

Paris has a few more years left--but she'll be fine and do well.

Katharine...I don't know what to think. She sings like a polished performer, but there doesn't seem to be any definition to her personality. I'm having a hard time classifying her.

Ummm....Can you say ridiculous? I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm a Katharine fan, but I think your "theory" is laughable.

FWIW, I do hate Kellie Pickler, but I don't think that she's being fake. I do think she's dumb (and I do think she can't sing...but that's another story).
