Weird that they revealed who voted no. I have no idea how passionate Sam's fans are (clearly not passionate to keep him on another week, ha) but I wonder if knowing who voted no could cause some backlash for those two. Say for example, if Sam's fans decided to throw all their support behind Jess or Caleb in hopes of getting Jena or Alex out. Hope that doesn't happen.

From what I'm reading on American Idol Net and FB, people are PISSED at the "no" voters.

Lots of people THOUGHT it was Caleb and Jena, but when they found out it was Alex and Jena they were shocked, as was I.

Jena already has a hate club that thinks she's snotty, this is not good for her.

I don't think it will hurt Alex, though. What it did was make Caleb and Jessica look GOOD.

Too bad you can't vote people OFF.

It was rather funny the last few nights. My youngest is home from school and was watching with me for the first time. When she saw Sam on Wednesday she said "my gosh could he look any more uncomfortable up there". When I told her that was an improvement she was stunned. Then last night she said his farewell singing was so much better and he seemed so much more relaxed.

I don't consider Jena snotty at all but lots of people seem to perceive her that way. I dunno, I was never the person who called someone "conceited" when I was a kid, either. I also see it as confidence. As my ex used to say "I'm not conceited, I'm CONVINCED!"

I cracked up at Sam's response to how he acted when he met Ariana Grande! That was the cutest I've ever seen him!

After Alex said he got a selfie with AG, Caleb asks Sam about her.

Caleb:

Sam! How did THAT feel?

Sam: (deer in headlights) I don't want to talk about it.

Jena: Did you pee your pants a little?

Sam: You saw me up there, I looked like an ***...

I'm surprised people ever thought it was Caleb. Yeah, he's safe so he could afford to vote no safely, but he's like the most inoffensive nice humble person there. The judges praise him? He turns around and praises the band. He hardly seems the type to seem threatened by this twist, and I think he genuinely wants them all to do well.

While she's not humble, I don't get snotty or conceited from Jena either, but her star has shot up faster than anyone's as she had a late burst in popularity and that sometimes bothers people, I guess.

Having said that, I don't think it's fair to reveal who voted how. Didn't they say it was anon?

Interesting how people see the star potential in others. I see no star potential in Sam or Jena. I think the only one who could put out an album that would do okay right now is Alex. I'm sure each one of us here sees different star potential.

And lotsa lotsa luck! There are so many talented artists out there who can't get a recording contract to save their lives and then some of the stuff you hear on the radio is such garbage.

BTW..I think Fabio is not good looking at all never has been.


And homely singers? First 2 that come to mind..Bob Dylan (and no, I do not think he can sing at all) and Ric Ocasek from Cars. Ric had a semi decent voice for what he did but he wasn't the best singer in the world. Homely with amazing voice? Jim Croce.
