It's depressing that most of these kids will consider this music 'oldies'

I think it is very odd that the iTunes sales don't match up with what I am reading about the popularity of some of the contestants. Caleb and Malaya seem to be loved by many but they don't show up at all. Maybe their fans don't buy music but isn't that the whole point of the music business. It just seems contradictory to continue to praise contestants who don't sell unless Idol doesn't care about making money.

Whatever, it appears that Alex has a tremendous amount of support. It is great that his original song is charting that high.

Wish they'd make Weds' show a half hour, too. One song per, no stupid background info and NO DUETS.

The show has lost it's "charm" for me.

Me too! I usually have a favorite at this point in the game but I just don't care who wins this year.

I hardly ever purchase on iTunes and haven't in years. And for this group NEVER. If I can't hear it on youtube I don't need to hear it at all.

I guess I am the minority. I am not really hating this season. I'm enjoying most of the performances. One of the reasons I do not like The Voice is the people on there all seem like they are pros already. I rather enjoy seeing someone get better week after week.

I hardly ever purchase on iTunes and haven't in years. And for this group NEVER. If I can't hear it on youtube I don't need to hear it at all.

I don't buy anything on itunes either. I still go out and buy CD's. I thought I was being pretty progressive having Spotify on my computer to listen to.

I think I might have just fainted from that.
I haven't watched the voice much at all, I watched it the first few seasons when I knew someone but now i'm just eh, kind of getting there with Idol too sadly.

I still buy CDs too. And buy nothing on itunes. Last time I had that program on my computer, it was a PITA to use and that was only to sync my ipod shuffle.
