I'm still looking for this "gift" that she's been given. I honestly don't think there is anything special about her voice at all.

I'm with you on this one. No matter how many times AI tries to convince us otherwise that is screaming and screeching. It is not singing.

I'm finding the show to be a bit boring this year and the talent level low and somewhat odd. It's getting hard for me to watch.

Couldn't agree more!

I feel really bad for Ben, but wasn't surprised that he was in the bottom three. His performance the other night really wasn't all that good, although I did think he was better than Malaya (she's too screechy for me) and MK.

I was surprised to see Sam and Majesty in the bottom three. I think their problems were that their performances were forgettable compared to some of the other performers. They're really going to have to step it up next week.

I think it was the plan to eliminate one of the country guys. Before Ben left they were top heavy in country, 4 out of 11, and that's rare for Idol, they rarely have more than 2 of any genre (except maybe pop).

....I didn't think the song was that bad....however, it wasn't his best performance, which did him in....

For me, I didn't recognise him at all this week. That makeover and the song choice just resulted in quite a few minutes of me trying to work out who he was and why I'd never seen him before. I didn't even hear what he was singing until halfway through the song.










But then......I AM an Old Fogie and prone to spots of amnesia.
