Good song. But I wonder if it was taped as there was one sequence where she had the mike down by her side when there were lyrics being "sung".....

Her rapping part was live, but the rest of the music was taped/lip synched.

Also, was Colton's song supposed to be about his love for God. It just sounded a little strange that Stevie said something along the lines of that's what a girl would like to have sung to her, showing how much he wants or loves her, how emotional it would be. Something like that.:confused3

That's why I call them "Jesus Is My Boyfriend" songs. :lmao: If you didn't know any better, if someone didn't say it was a "praise/worship" song, you would swear it was a romantic love song. Those songs creep me out.

Wow, why?? I like the positivity of them over silly love songs. And believe me, NO Christian thinks of Jesus as their "boyfriend".

Whoa..made me a little nervous there.

Surprisingly though, I would have put Colton in the bottom 3 before Heejun this week.

Colton has a big following so I didn't expect him to be at the bottom.

That was sweet of Joshua to hug Hollie like that. :cloud9:

I've decided I can make a country song. I'm just going to put some twang in my voice, add a slide guitar, and read off my shopping list or maybe a map. It seems to be working for Scotty.

I like to be able to differentiate a song about God/Jesus from a song about one's romantic interest. Some of these songs make that difficult to impossible. Hence, "Jesus Is My Boyfriend." I'm not saying anyone views Jesus as their actual boyfriend. :rotfl: But the songs often sound as if they were written for a love interest instead of Jesus/God.

I like Joshua more and more each week.

I didn't really think Colton would be in the bottom..I'm just surprised that I liked Heejun better since up till yesterday I didn't like him at all.

Is it OVER yet????

Add in something about your dog and your country..and maybe throw in a few verses about drinking or being in a bar OR even better, your man doing you wrong and I think you'll be perfect.

***FYI for anyone reading this..before you get upset, I am a HUGE country music fan from way back***

Got it. I was wondering...;)

I agree, AGAIN, with Jimmy about Deandre. His sound is definitely polarizing and he needs more experience. And his point about young girls voting for young guys was right on.

:lmao:

Spot on. And I don't listen to a lot of country music but those are the themes I've heard....

Figures, the one week I really liked him is the week he goes bye bye...:confused3

Awww...I'll miss Heejun. Most of the other contestants have the personalities of dryer lint.

On to next week!

While that may be true, it is certainly better than listening to one brag about b*tch slapping their ho and the other absolute trash that is in today's music or what passes as "music".

My favorite AI contestant this year is Phillip Phillips. I really cannot stand Deondre which means he will be around for a while.
