Top Three-Colton, Elise, Jessica


I just can't get into Phil- he is very hard to watch perform-he always looks constipated and straining with that big vein running down his forehead while he sings. Not crazy about his singing either.

I put Hollie in my bottom three just because I needed a third and, alphabetically she came before Jessica, Joshua, and Skylar. Also, while I think she technically has a great voice, to me she really doesn't show much, if any, personality. Vocally, I think she's much better than Skylar, but as much as I'm not a fan of country music, Skylar is much more entertaining than she is. Hollie kind of reminds me of Pia, technically good but no personality.

I like Hollies voice the best between her and Jessica, but I keep thinking Hollie does her song choices based on what Jessica did the week before, like, "ok, now I need to show I can do what she did" instead fo taking charge. Jessica, while vocally good, can be taken down.

Skylar is entertaining, but she has needs to refine that arm wavivng/seizure move when she gets going. For me, it just comes across like spasms and the rhythm kinda goes bye- bye, but then she gets it back.

What did Stevie mean when she said that since she lost her mother 2 months ago, she (Stevie) has no problems anymore? Did she mean that she doesn't have to worry about her mother's health problems? I didn't really get it.

Also, was Colton's song supposed to be about his love for God. It just sounded a little strange that Stevie said something along the lines of that's what a girl would like to have sung to her, showing how much he wants or loves her, how emotional it would be. Something like that.

Is she scheduled to sing tonight?

I don't know exactly what SHE meant but I know the feeling. When you lose someone so close to you that you didn't really expect to lose, your life gets a new prospective. Your "problems" all of a sudden aren't "problems" anymore. Every thing that bothered you yesterday doesn't seem so intense anymore. The only problem is the fact that that person is GONE.

Man, I felt her words so deeply.
