They are 16 and 17, absolutely anything is possible. Kids are very outwardly affectionate these days with their friends.

I know Scotty is religious, is Lauren? I just think they take their emotions a little more serious being religious and from the South. My opinion, pleae don't flame.

I think they look adorable together. Obviously they have something special, Scotty said they have been together for a year, since first audtion I think. He said they will be together after also. I think its really nice.

I don't know many people that kiss there friends on the lips and call each other baby

I hug and kiss my close friends... and may even call them a sweet name. I'm an affectionate, kissy-huggy type person.

Yes, we have been the year David Cook won and last year for Lee Dewyzve. Hopefully this year also.

It seems that Lauren has always had a crush on Scotty. Scotty just recently started to have a crush on her, he seemed to not be all that interested in her a few weeks back. Lauren grabbed the back of Scotty's head and planted the kiss on his lips. I don't think he was expecting that at all.
So as Scotty was singing his last song his true feelings came out and he blurted out I love you baby and he then kissed her!!!

There was a brief shot during one of the montages of the judges hugging his fiance in the wheelchair during the early auditions.

Ok, I missed that but I still am surprised he wasn't invited to be in the audience since they SO used his sad story for ratings. It's the least they could have done.

I don't know about Hollywood week. I just know that he said they had been together since the beginning. I started screaming like a school girl "OMG they are going out" lol. My dd13 was not impressed as she loved Scotty from the beginning.

I heard him say I love you man to James too but I don't think they kissed on the lips

Who knows if they are or aren't I choose to believe they are

glad others enjoyed past concerts. this is the first year dd11 and I "really" got into AI - we've watched it in the past, but we were REAL fans this year. I just surprised dd w/ front row center tickets (and go backstage where we'll meet one of them). She and myself and my mom are going - a very nice "family -time" girls night out. Expensive - yes - very! But I think my dd11 will remember this forever, especially w/ me and her Nana.

I remember Lauren saying something abut them finishing HS together in Nashville now...maybe they are just playing the game like the other *couple* did, or it is something thrown out there to promote their duet, or maybe they really are dating...maybe the tour will be more telling, lol.

I remember really LIKING Paul at the beginning, then he just kept disappointing me. I wish he had a moment, I still just like HIM.

Thanks for posting. Good video. I wish we had heard more of Paul like this on AI. His type of music is still the only one I would consider buying out of all the contestants this year.

I heard Scotty and Lauren on Ryan's radio show. She was teasing him and saying she was his girlfriend and he was acting shocked and saying "Really? I didn't know." Hard to tell either way.
