They fell asleep! Is any one really surprised, last night grabbed the worst AI finale ratings? I LOVE country music, but these two are BORING!!!

I don't hate any of the contestants! In fact, I have been an anti-hate campaigner. I've watched all season, and my favorite contestant only got voted off last week, so I've enjoyed the season as a whole. I have nothing against Scotty or Lauren; I think they are both very talented singers. I'm just not a big fan of country music. But since I've watched the entire season, I figured I would see it through to the finale. It was pretty much what I expected, though, lackluster. Now tonight I'm actually looking forward to! And may the best man (or woman) win!

I did NOT watch last night and will NOT watch tonight, I just like coming here and having a ball...sort of like all the unending Haley bashing.

i don't hate the two left. i just am ambivalent about both of them. i watched last night because i've invested my time into this season and want to see it through to the end.

was last night the first final where they've allowed someone else to perform? i thought DC would be on tonight's finale, but he closed out the show last night instead. i find that kind of interesting.

I'm watching because my 91 year old FIL is hoping for Scotty , and it's nice to see a coupla decent kids up for the win. I'll be at a sports banquet tonight so will not be watching it live. I watched last night and actually think it is maybe harder to have 2 same style contestants to vote for than 2 different ones.

I've never said anything negative about Scotty or Lauren. I've only said that I'm not a fan of country music. And I live in a house with a DH who loves it! I don't that think not liking country music (or any type of music) equates with jealousy. And if you think the comments about Scotty and Lauren are harsh, you must not have been around int the past couple of weeks. The comments about Haley would have made you I can talk with you for hours about adults being chldish!

I was thinking the same thing. I'm not sure what comments the PP was talking about, with regard to Scotty and Lauren Alaina, but to not include the comments made about Haley over the last few weeks in that group is a gross omission. Those childish comments were so definitive that no one could have missed them.

And I'm surprised that someone would show up for the very first time on this thread to make a nasty comment about the posters here. So typical for someone to resort to the "must be jealous" schtick. It's so old.



For the record, IMO country music as a whole sucks out loud. Lauren and Scotty are very good at the music they do, but I find it unappealing. I like THEM very much.
