Agreed. Unfortunately the producers are watching the "teeny boppers" as their own personal marketing project. They need to know who they'll make money off of.

Are you serious? In case you are, let's just say that I disagree on all accounts. Casey has talent, but not more talent than all of the remaining four. Lauren actually has loads of talent, imho, but grossly hidden by insecurity. And while I agree that Scotty is a one-trick pony, Casey is also a one-trick pony - that which you consider his immense talent is as broad but as singular as Scotty's talent.

Let's face it - tween teeny-boppers would not know talent if it hit them in the face.

American Idol is about finding a new popular music idol. It's not about finding the person who can split the gemstone perfectly. While I agree that the voting needs to be fixed (make people put their money where their mouths are - replace the voting with simply the iTunes sales for the 18 hours after the performance show), the folks who matter are the folks who make singers into idols - the fans, regardless of their age.

I agree! I don't get that at all from Haley. I see a happy-go-lucky young girl who seems to not take herself too seriously (not to mean that she doesn't care or take the competition seriously). She has been in the bottom 3 almost every week, and if she was that arrogant, you would think it would come out then. But I have always seen her take her seat on the stool of doom good-naturedly. With a kind of here-we-go-again kind of smile. I think she would be great fun to hang out with. I would hope she had some self-confidence at this point! And I don't blame her for being a little miffed at the Jimmy Iovine comment. If she knows "who she is", then to hear him say that she doesn't would be pretty maddening, I would think. So if she had a little BS comment, just add it to all the other bleeps we have seen this season. Why is she held to a different standard than the rest of them? Just to add, I am over 50 years old and a mother of 2, not exactly one of her peers.

Talent wise? I don't think Haley will win, but I do like her jazzy, bluesy voice. I don't think she has always picked the right song, though. I have just never understood the negative comments about her from the beginning. Maybe it's because I have kids about her age that I don't like some of the harsh words.

I'm not a big Haley fan either, but I agree. I don't see her as arrogant either. She just seems like she expects to be in the bottom 3, and she isn't letting it get her down. I think she has a pretty good attitude. She and Casey seem like a really good couple with a wacky sense of humor.

He sounds off tune tonight. Even when I don't like the screaming at least he sings in tune. I am not impressed so far. I actually just turned it down.
