Really.

I know there's always a golden boy/girl but it hasn't worked out so well for Idol's chosen one in the past, has it?

PLUS, that page isn't the Idol official page. That would be here http://www.americanidol.com/contestants/season_10/ where BRETT is listed first and the rest follow in correct alphabetical order by first name. ainow.org ain't the be-all-end-all. I just don't subscribe to conspiracy theory.

i will say it truly annoys me when Idol pimps someone. it makes me like that person less and root for someone else. although, i quit watching last season because i was bored out of my mind.

but i think, if Idol had just let it go, Adam Lambert might have won. i think the constant putting of him on a pedestal turned people off. i still wouldn't have voted for him personally, but...

i am glad that America voted David Cook as idol. he truly deserved it that year.

I really have high hopes for Tim Halperin and Paul McDonald, mostly because while they're kind a cute now, I distinctly remember the difference between early David Cook (pre Hello) and season final David Cook. I bet the idol stylists can work some magic with those two...and even Casey!

Me too. But I am afraid with the sudden death voting, he doesn't have a prayer. We have seen SO little of him so far. And at this point those with all the airtime have a HUGE advantage.
