How about when he turned to Randy and said "you can't just tell people they're not good." (in subtitles because it was whispered, so...not even said for the sake of the camera). This happened the other night, too, but it really struck me because:
A) He's correcting the AI judge with 10 years of experience

B) All of the speculation that he would be the judge to "replace" Simon, and
C) How, after all the talk that Simon couldn't be replaced (myself included), that this type of judging seems to have even more appeal. It is possible to be honest AND kind and to make for good tv at the same time. Imagine that!
