ugh...Beatles. haven't they done enough with them recently??

there's only like...3 of their songs i like and everytime someone just ruins them, anyway.

does Idol OWN the Beatles song book at this point??

If not, they should. And why keep sticking with the "old fogey" music anyways???

that vocal coach......idk people yelling at me and being rude to me when i'm already doing something wrong doesn't help. maybe if you HELPED and told me "this is what you can do to improve" that would probably help.

i just get frustrated and walk away when someone is like that.

So do most kids that age. And the blow her out of the water thing won't work unless they are very competitive. It could just make them shut down. I thought a vocal coach was meant to help, not abuse.

ok....granted, i KNOW who the Beatles are and even tho i'm not a big fan, i still respect them.

HOWEVER....half of these kids just explained that they don't even know who they are nor do they know any of their music.

why would you make them sing songs they're clearly not familiar with?? they always wonder why the ratings don't do well or why "favorites" do so horrible when they make it onto the show.....it's because they're singing things they're not comfortable OR familiar with.

and now they've only got a day to learn to sing a song they've never even heard and probably don't even like to begin with. it's no wonder most of them are doing poorly. how excited are you going to be singing something you don't know or don't like?

errr....well i think i'm actually a bit older than they are tbh lol

but still....if someone's yelling and screaming at me it doesn't help, it makes things worse. talk to me and tell me the problem, and we'll figure out how i can fix it.

I am now 100% convinced James is an Adam Lambert clone. Even more than I was before...thought maybe the producers were creating that image. I think he's trying to be that way.

I studied theatre in NY and she is TYPICAL. You have to have a tough hide in this business. I had teachers who THREW things at us... they'd all be in jail for life if they could get busted!
